6 goals is reasonable return for attacking midfielder, his assist record of 1 is poor given he’s signed as a creator and line breaker, his work rate has improved recently (has been poor) he’s definitely going in the right direction, let’s hope that continues.

Or maybe when he sets someone up, they've missed the chance?

Can pick stats to suit.

I really dont know who they are, but ill tell you this

4 of ours are first picks, every game we play

And 2 are probably the best in their position in the league

But, its part of the game and we need to find a way

I don’t know too much about Portsmouths players but doing a quick search tells you Poole, Morrell are influential first teamers also their Brentford loan lad picked an injury up

It might catch up with them who knows but so far they’ve coped well

I’ve watched every minute of every game… he’s created not a lot.

Rumour going around that Baxter is crocked till the end of the season. One of those 'I know someone at the club so ITK' types who's usually not far wrong.

I bloody hope he is with this one. We win that today with Baxter in between the sticks......

Out for around 3 weeks according to the latest from the club.

Stick with me for more top quality rumour and analysis! 😂

What about Santos and Forrester?

Thankfully the bog average midfielder is chipping in with more goals than anyone outside our strike force.

Which competitions are included?  Bod has scored 8 in all competitions, Dan's got 5, not sure of the others.

Having watched the goals back, I actually don’t think there’s much blame on Coleman for any of them.

1 - it’s a good ball in but Toal gets caught underneath it. Coleman will expect him to just head that clear and he can’t come for it, once it’s over Toal and the forward goes for it then there’s nothing Coleman can do. Toal’s fault.

2 - it comes through 4 Bolton players and Iredale puts a foot out right in front of Coleman. I’m not 100% but I’m pretty sure Iredale gets something on it which puts it past Coleman. It’s also one that would get ruled out for offside with VAR because the forward that Iredale is marking is in an offside position and is in front of Coleman when the shot comes in. Unlucky - shouldn’t let them get a free shot on goal 18 yards out.

3 - foul on Cogley, players stop, Toal then makes a mess of his positioning when the ball is bouncing and it’s a good finish off the post. Toal / ref’s fault.

If Santos was back in the team then I don’t think 1 or 3 go in. I really fucking hope he’s back for Blackpool/Wigan!

Positives are that Vic and Bod got on the scoresheet with 2 nicely worked goals and good runs from them both. Bod getting 2 in 2 is a great sign because we know he’s got the quality to go on a scoring streak, he just needed the monkey off his back of getting his first.

Think that's a fair summary Eddie. I don't think anyone's mentioned that that back 3 could easily have conceded 3 or 4 midweek and conceded 3 yesterday. Should it have been changed for yesterday? I for one hope we change for Tuesday and I'd play Taylor in the middle. What's others preferred option from those available?

Taylor centre with iredale and Jones. Once Santos is fit, Iredale drops out.

Toal needs to get his injury sorted

I’d drop Iredale and bring Forrester in.

Don't think we can afford 2 of the back 3 not 100% up to speed - but generally speaking, I agree. Not a fan of Iredale in a 3. OK squad player but that's as far as I'd go

I loved his attitude if not all of his play

Refused to be bullied and was really up for the battle, second half at least

I think that's why we came unstuck against Barnsley in the play offs last season....

Airedale has come on a lot recently and shouldn’t be dropped IMO - we need Santos back before any of present back three are rested

He’s better playing in the back 3 rather than wingback. His left foot ping his his best asset, but bloody hell he’s a cart horse.

In reality so have we.

We are limping through grabbing points along the way.

Said it a million times but nobody will give a flying hoot about performances come May.

I’d agree. But think Forrester is better player.

Iredale’s passing was poor but he put a shift in

Iredale was easily the best of the three yesterday. Toal for me was below average. I thought iredale won all his battles and is really good at stepping in front of attackers without giving away a foul. Also having a left footer on the left side gives more balance.
