waffer cup 07 Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 I've got return flights from Malaga for just double what it costs on a coach from Bolton. Mad. Quote
radcliffe white Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 Random half rows appearing after being unavailable wonder if its club officials returning them Quote

LodgeMorrWhite Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 There will be loads of non ST members buying tomorrow, myself included. Numbers will top out around the 25k matk but I don't see it being any less than that. Similar to Preston at millennium and Watford late 90's. Quote
MancWanderer Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 There are 8 of us in our network who are non-ST. I only know of one who definitely isn’t going at the moment. Should be a surge in sales tomorrow morning to try to get half decent seats Quote

For a lot, a few hundred just ain’t possible. Be great to see the club do free travel for those who need it. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 We’re on £473.50 between the two of us for ticket, return train and two nights at a 4* hotel in Watford. Which I don’t think is too bad all things considered. Can certainly be done cheaper if you do a day trip or drive down, but how often do we get to Wembley? 😃 Quote
boltonboris Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 We're already on £400 for tickets and coaches for 2 adults & 2 kids. Absolutely crackers!! Will easily do £600+ by the time we get home in evening Quote
BobyBrno Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 £81.50. Coach and ticket for one. Not included the wife’s shopping spree whilst I’m on a one day jolly😳 Quote

These are rare opportunities and worth the expense. Quote
Spider Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 I’m driving there and back, fuel card covers that so a freebie. Will park at Wealdstone as it was a good in and out last year, that’s £7.50 Tickets £100 for me and the lad. So a pretty cheap do. If I was staying over and boozing, you can easily add another £350 on to that. Not a cheap weekend at short notice for families. Quote

To be honest, it’s been on the cards for a while after we hit the bad run in the new year. I remember in 97 thinking we’d probably end up in the play-offs so booked a holiday in Portugal and missed the QPR and City games. It’s all about planning. Good or bad. Matt Lofthouse Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 I’m on E’s cunt list for not sorting my daughter’s ticket after the Barnsley game, but the old gent at the ticket office was ace in sorting today. Double checked it had been reassigned for us before I was on my way. Quote

(we beat Oxford 4-0 after the City game) I’m more thinking about families of 3 or 4, on a tight budget. I know a lad and his missus who are ST holders and go with their 2 young boys and they’ve no chance of being able to afford it, so will make a day of it in front of the telly. He said cheapest way they could do it was coach but even that with tickets and a bit of spends is touching £450. I know we’re all millionaires on here, but there’s normal folk out there who are having to live in Corbyns Britain on a budget 🙃 Quote

It was the short notice comment (which I highlighted) that I was commenting on. If anyone misses out for financial reasons, there will be another day. It’s what we do. 👍 Quote
Traf Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 I'm not skint, I can afford to do it, but it's an expense I could easily have done without, especially paying for two. So, it's a 'cheap' day trip for me rather than the weekender I did for PJT. Quote
W.cramp Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 Coach parking up at Wealdstone fc. Easy to and from wemberley ? Anyone do it last year? Quote
