  • Might be an idea to let's just watch a football match without all this attention seeking bumcbuffery.

Over 60k is a great effort from both sides. Average L1 play off attendance is 53k - if you take out the COVID finals - and obviously got some massive 70k plus crowds in there due to Leeds etc.

IIRC the attendance for the Tranmere defeat was only 30k in total?

This bit goes in a slot like you get on a tube station barrier. There was no operative or space for a phone the other week.

Might just have been balls deep on security because it was England.

QR code looks like the northern lights someone posted last week.

Sorry, I've gone old bloke on this. How do I get the one that will print out ? I've added to my Apple Wallet, but I can't find anything I can print out.

Found it.

New shit has come to light.

Don’t go posting your tickets on social media with the QR code visible, or have your tickets waving around in your hand in the queue.

I know there’s people that will literally photoshop your QR code onto their own fake ticket. Or take a picture of your QR code while you’re not looking. And as long as they get into the venue before you, their ticket will work and yours won’t!

Yeah; got my sleeping bag and on the streets waiting for you to arrive 😁

To the tune of ‘We’ve got super Ian Evatt’

”We’ve got Thirty thousand piss heads”

“We know exactly what we need” 😀

We are going on the train and arrive at Paddington at 11.20. Will be rammed with Oxford tourists as we head through there

big clump of seats now available in tier 1

Baffling, just seen. Why hold these back when Wembley were on about flogging North to South (presumably for the TV cameras)?

Can't see there being a rush for £86 tickets from people who are undecided with a couple of days to go??

They have a weird way of selling tickets.

Got mine last Thursday & was unable to get in the same block as some of my family who are also ST holders and also got their tickets Thursday. If we’d left it till today it would have been possible.

Also, if they’d released that chunk of L1 tickets that have just come on sale last Thursday they’d have been sold in no time.

I think it's possibly a case of large groups moving their tickets into other sections as they've become available

I've asked some more questions and appear to have broken it.

70 thousand sheets of A4 printed to gain admission... Carbon neutral, saving the planet , everything about Wembley is awful, you cannot take food in the ground ,  cameras,  drinks. Awful location . Stupid kick off times  I'm surprised they let supporters in .

I messaged them last night and they replied first thing this morning. Have to submit a form.

You weren't at England v Brazil or England v Belgium where it was printed tickets only.

Apple wallet maybe fine for this, we all hope so, but wasn't for them and the tickets we've received are exactly the same as the England ones.

Why would anybody with a printer not print em

That's a good point.

I suppose it then raises the age old question about booking/transaction fees.

It's all on-line now, and no ticket printing, so it does call in to question the validity of these charges.

I’ve printed them and bought an android to ensure I’ve covered all 3 options

I've absolutely no idea. Not sure why you'd want to he 15 pints deep trying to fuck about with your phone either.

Especially when it says you must print these tickets on the actual tickets.

dunno about Android users, but it’s a piece of piss for us Apple wankers. Double tap the button at the side of your phone to bring up your wallet and it’s the first thing you see. Only way it would get any easier is using NFC (which I expect will happen sooner rather than later as Ticketmaster are using it for a lot of outdoor gigs this year)

Electronic tickets worked all the way through the euros at the same stadium and there was no option to print so whichever way you choose it’ll be sound. Can tell there’s a lull in football action Jesus Christ 🤣

I just want today and Thursday to fuck off. Most impatient I’ve been for years.

Yep, this week’s dragging like Danny La Rue.
