Just texted mate exactly that who is working today!!

Bit harsh, we're not passing round the back for hours - but definitely not the cutting edge we'd like. A couple of reasonable chances which might have changed the game, we look decent when countering them but not much joy when they sit in.

Yup the crossing and some of the passing has been aimless - and it just encourages Wrexham.

Must do better.

Same as last year then!

It is a bit harsh, but these late substitutions suggest Evatt hasn't learned much from last season.

At home against promoted opposition, moneybags aside, you'd expect 3 points. Feels like we're marginally short once again.

I'd much rather we were winning, but this is a better performance than last week - goals just haven't happened alas.

Each to their own, but it's boring to me

If anything the subs were too early - last 10 mins we look like all the quality has gone off the pitch.

Subs getting on at usual times today.

Worrying thing is Wrexham are shite

shit crossing and too many suicide passes out of defence, must do better !!

Well at least we didn't lose!

Some positives, but some shit crosses and Charles has to do better

Only Dempsey who's shown anything there and he had 20 mins

Poor that really, all those capable strikers on yet we continue to go out wide and over elaborate again. Our final ball in is just dreadful not improved at all from last season. Very disappointing today Wrexham offered nothing and were there for the taking. The only positive is we’d probably have lost it last year.

You thought we'd lose, so not too bad then.

Bollocks

Good team, well organised. Outdid us in the stands as well. They will be pushing for/if not consolidating the playoffs IMO, with a January signings boost.

Stockport are also looking good.

Didn't get bullied today, but a lot of similarities to last season. We're easy to play against at times.

On to the next one.

Its the standard away team sits back to play on break and take the point and they got it easily. We created very little in open play and we didn't deserve to win.

How many times have we had that last season? Probably double figures. Way too easy to defend against.

We tried the three up top today but again we were too slow in possession and didn't gain any advantage from having 3 up.

At the start of the season, I reckon most would have taken 4 points from the first two games.

11 shots, 8 on target but felt like we didn't have much going on up top

Overall much of a muchness. Sounds obvious but we score in that first 15-20 mins and it’s a different game and we run out 2 or 3 nil winners.

but as is often the case we let a bang average side inch their way in to the game up to the point where 2nd half it was completely equal.

lessons still to be learnt

I don't think Sheehan and others repeatedly passing to Wrexham players or a string of aimless passes and crosses to nobody in particular was quality. We may have been more direct but the runs by Demps, Victor's hold up play and Matete's control improved us massively. Even Tutu pushed McClean back and skinned him a couple of times. We looked better after the subs arrived IMO.

At least we didn't lose and TBH it was nervy at times.

Only we could have the best front 3 in the division and make them look clueless.

Extremely poor today.

Outdid us in the stands?

For the amount they brought it was like a mortuary, day trippers
