Have I missed it or are the club not doing the returns thing they trialled at the end of last season? The one for season ticket seats to be opened up of you can't make the match. 

There's no re-sale tickets showing anywhere and I'd have thought there'd have been a lot on holidays. Seemed like a win win to me, fill the stadium, club gets to sell the same seat twice, person selling gets a bit of money

Massive today.

I can’t think of a first home game of the season that could potentially be so pivotal.

I don’t say this to heap on pressure or to ignore the fact that this is just the start of a very long season and this Is just one game, one result. 

But I think we all accept that after Wembley and arguably messing up our best chance of promotion, we all expect promotion. More than that we don’t want to see any of the weaknesses that prevented us getting promotion.

The manager and players (rightly or wrongly) will be judged early.

There’s already knives sharpening and it won’t take much today for people to criticise - I don’t agree with this, but I understand it.

Win and win well, we’ve got a foundation (albeit a thin one) from which to build and grow.

Lose and we will have to face the hoardes of criticism from the those who think they know better.

Anything in between leaves us in limbo really the early judgement will take place another day in the non too distant future.

It feels very odd that Wrexham at home should be such a big game. Been trying to think of other examples where the second game of the season was the first home game and it was a biggie. 

There was a game against Blackburn in the Prem when we drew 2-2 after having been 2-0 up, SKD scored one of the goals. Then in the "big" season under Colin Todd we won 1-0 at home v City after drawing at Port Vale on the first day. 

I agree with those who are saying the result somehow feels like a real tone-setter.
