The division is irrelevant.

It's no different is my point.

This is the same shit as last season.

It's so easy to defend deep and take the point.

That was a shit game of football with barely any shots on target. Both keepers had fuck all to do all game.

Their keeper made a good 4-5 saves.

They cleared one off the line and we should've ha 2/3 pens.

Charles missed a one on one. And we had plenty going on in the first half.

We had 9 shots on goals and for me controlled the whole game.

Not Evatt biggest fan but that was ok today especially at the back....Those three will come good ........Matete will get in the team and wont move

Liked Schon....Not perfect, but not a Wigan or Carlisle neither

Other than dions wasted chance and a Collins shot first half I can't remember either keeper making a save. Just a bland game.

We won't be getting bullied anywhere this season that's for certain.

Damp squib opening game for me.

New personnel but nothing much looks to have changed since last season which is a worry. Slight tweak to the formation but the remainder looked identical.

Wrexham were alright. Expected a bit more from them to be honest after all the hype. But I think they'll pick up points. Just because of Parky ball.

Can't see either team bothering the automatic promotion spots based on that showing.

Was impressed with Johnstone after a year out. Especially first half.

A friend of mine who is relatively well connected at the club reckons Evatt has been given 10 games. And that both parties were ambivalent about what to do after Wembley. They've ended up agreeing to back Evatt but it's very much being viewed as shit or bust (which doesn't sound very Sharon like if I'm honest). Don't shoot the messenger - completely aware this could and probably is all bollocks. Just passing on what I was told.

Very disappointing and so similar to last season, them substitutions/timing was poor

yet again Charles guilty of a big miss personally Vic starts instead at Charlton

we need a massive improvement Evatt

Vic ran around like a headless chicken once he came on.....Once he got room and instead of driving towards  goal he misplaced a pass.

Take any profit on him

With all the new signings and the tweaked formation we're not fully in our stride yet. We'll need to be hitting that stride in a few weeks. In the meantime we just need to keep picking up points and four from two games will do.

The awkward little start to the season continues at Charlton and I'd be happy with a point there too as long as we go on and beat Exeter.

Why oh why can’t we find a bloke who can hit a dead ball.

We’ve fuck all threat from corners and free kicks

Initially, Sheehan looked good on free kicks, but has gone cack latterly.

Collins looks to have the best "wand" in that regard.

See first half we looked miles better at that.

Sheehans free kick that got tipped over bar and plenty of corners.

2nd half reverted to type.

Not great, not awful, just a lot of huff and puff against the dark spectre of ParkyBall.

I suspect that front 3 on its day could bang 6 or 7 goals past a league one defence. But Evatt need to find a way to get the ball forward with more speed and urgency, the passing around the back half of the team is pretty and all that, but we still lack a cutting edge.

I know that’s the holy grail of football, but fans need to see progress now.

10 games, then we really can judge. I’d say we need to be around the 20 point mark at least by then.

Our fans were toilet today, theirs were embarrassingly better.

Not too bad that. We could play for another 900 minutes and Wrexham wouldn't score.

Good thing for us is we have 3 more gears and will brush shite like this lot to the side more often than not.

James cuntytwat needs putting out to pasture too. Rubbish.

Great, but if we're firing blanks at home, I'd rather that 6 or 7 goals come over several games when we need them

Did you not hear our dreary rendition of GSTK ? It's a shite song to be fair. The Welsh anthem sounded ace.

Definitely didn't today.

And McClean didn't score 😁

Did you join in?

Thought we played really well first half. By far the better side.

Second half we weren't as good and it was a bit more even.

Hopefully we'll improve in the coming weeks.

Front three, at least that front three today, didn't work. They are all too similar in their make up, weren't close enough to each other, none of them can hold the ball up, none of them can head it or get themselves into the six yard box and score a poachers goal. Every decent front line has a focal point, we effectively played with three false nines.

Nothing much about that game, against a bang average outfit of a similar level to a Lincoln or Northampton, that said to me we'll have any different ways to win a football match than we had last season.

If one of our 63 forwards is to go out the door for game time he needs replacing with a robust physical presence the others can play off. Fletcher is an old codger now but jogged on for quarter of an hour and made the game look easy.

Schon looked decent, lad he was against was a handful but he largely did ok and was pretty handy going forward.

Toal and Johnston both solid at back, Santos was ok stood up against the big lump of a no9 but the yard of pace he's lost was a concern when he had to cover some ground

Work in progress, still gelling things together, blah blah, and to be fair, should probably wait till 10 games to really pass judgement, but a bit of an uninspiring 90 minutes

Do you mean the one Dion put straight at keeper when put through ? Or the one he curled and the keeper made a very decent save ?

Cos there were definitely 2 close together

We’re going to be facing teams who put most behind the ball all season, and we still have not learnt how to deal with it.  We’re not very good at pulling other teams out of shape, and when we do we are slow on the counter and allow teams to reshape. Address those two points and we’ll be winning comfortable at home 90% of the time.

Disappointing result, though some positives and both teams should be in the top 6 at the end of the season.

Sounds like you are just a bit desperate for us to be shit

Thought it was quite a good game myself. Evatt picked the right team but it’s not quite clicking yet

Think we’ve got a good side but two things for me. Up the tempo (still too pedestrian at times) and cross the ball better, be it from open play, a corner or a free kick

Would like to see the Santos penalty shout again as Evatt was boiling at the end

It was poor end of just like Orient a massive improvement is needed Saturday

and Cogley you can pass the half way line

I want to see the handball too. Looked as clear as day in front of us.
