I hate it when stats are used from 1992 omitting over 100 years history. Fuck off, not you😀

first goal ever scored in league football anywhere in the world was by a Boltonian for Bolton in Bolton.

and yet some fuckers use the phrase "founder members of the premier league".

Come the fucking revolution brothers and sisters ...

You remember correct

my only memory of him was giving away a stupid free kick in the 94th minute at home to Cambridge, and they subsequently scored an equaliser from it, hence why I remember him as shite

He perfected the art of receiving the ball on the left wing around the half way line, going forward a few strides, then turning back and passing it to a defender.  A bit of a pioneer really.

He played in those back to back 5-0 wins v Posh and MK Dons, and scored a header from a corner (as did most of our defenders in that game).

Cogley picked it up and perfected it in the right wing.

Was watching sky sports on Sunday morning and were talking about Cole Palmer being the first player to score four goals in one half in a prem game

They had a journalist on who pointed out that Jimmy Greaves did it then when one better by scoring a fifth in the second half but it doesn't get mentioned as it was pre 1992

Presenter looked a bit awkward

Feel like there is gonna be a bit of rotation tonight with a Tue, sat, Tue week. Both these next two league games are winnable, would be nice to get to the international break in the playoffs.

Can see Sheehan getting a break-possibly tonight.

Rest him for the home game, where you'd imagine we will be more on the front foot.

Good attitude from McAtee here

I'm hoping he'll be like Collins was last season, a bit of a slow start before his ability really begins to shoe itself

I like his attitude, in games always wanting to be on the ball and where the action's at, and appears to be a good lad around dressing room, noticed him giving Schon some arm round the shoulder at the end on Sat

Mrs made me watch a series about Alan Carr growing up, his Dad (Graham) Managed Northampton.

Good watch in fairness

Anyway with this in mind, i've not a clue about tonight as these men Dicked Huddersfield week after they dicked us.

Pitch will be moist and claggy

Everyone's dicked Huddersfield since they dicked us. There manager will be looking for a job come Monday they keep it up.

Clean sheet tonight, another McAtee screamer and we'll have a few more bums on seats come Saturday for the big big love in.

Bed sheets back in the drawer and managers knowing exactly what we need again.

We also have 3 players in the all time top ten goal scorers in league one prior to premier league

Don’t Northampton have the record for being the only team to go from 4th division to first division in consecutive years then back down again the same?

For some reason I thought Newport and Wolves had done it or nearly done it . Not sure why tho just a hunch.
