I like Forrester and would rather not drop him, but I just think you need a left footer at LCB - like you say, it’ll end up with him on the right because Toal won’t be fit. Baxter / Southwood - I’m now at the point of 50:50. No real preference either way. Baxter is the better keeper but is out of form / already slightly switched off ahead of leaving for me. I get your point on GT over Randall, but if we see him as the answer to our problems then he needs to play, not just in the easy home games. Maghoma was essential in tougher games to get hold of the ball and keep it, taking the pressure off - I’m hoping Randall can do the same. And as I say, GT is playing as poorly as I can remember for the past season and a half. Despite where Rotherham are in the league, this is one of my ‘big games’ this season and so if we manage to grab a win then it would be every credit to Evatt and would be a timely indication that we might actually be able to win some of them in the 2nd half of the season (which we need to!)

Play all 3. Crucial we don't get overrun in midfield against these. That should be the starting point. If Evatt then wants to play 3 forwards he needs to lose a defender, not a midfielder.

But if Toal and Sheehan are both fit for next week playing this team leaves, Southwood, JDC, Tutu, Toal, Sheehan, CMG, McAtee, Victor, Lolos and SSA fighting for a place on the bench. I’d assume being Evatt he’d leave out Southwood and SSA so what a bench that would be. If we can’t beat teams with this squad someone wants locking up and that’s without the turn the dial newcomers considering to add. 🙂

Possibly too big leading to the over rotation at 70mins in games.

I honestly don’t know, I can’t remember anything about him from when we played Posh. If he’s a Maghoma type, then he’s a midfielder and should be considered as part of a genuine midfield 3. If he’s a CMG, Collins etc. then he’s a forward and it’s a midfield 2 with another attacker. I’m really hoping he’s the former as we’re fucking overrun with the latter.

For all we were a bit crap for obvious reasons, there were some decent characters and players in that team and I enjoyed watching them give their all. Wouldn't have minded having a fit Bridcutt in our midfield in last couple of years.

Just can’t fathom having the energy and breaking up ability of Matete on the bench in a game like this, pure madness / stubborn loyalty to your favourites. McAtee vs Charles is more debatable in my eyes, although I’d have Charles in personally, especially with his better record away from home. Anyway, it’s a ‘strong’ team regardless and let’s hope it’s the start of our promotion push 🤞🏼
