I was thinking the same thing, Evatt is nowhere near as good as Evans.

His post match comments would carry a bit more weight if we weren't trying to play a totally batshit system.

Two in midfield. Three near identical forward players. A defence built around a guy who can only function in a three. The only width at the club is from full-backs.

It'd be one thing had he tried mixing things up and the players were continually letting him down. But the whole squad has been built to play a single specific way that no other team does, doesn't get the best out of anyone and hasn't looked like working for a second all season. How could it not be him?

Always pissed off to lose but never really being in with a chance in games is just embarrassing. 

 

We've all seen us get relegated a few times no doubt, but I can't remember getting to mid Jan with so many limp defeats where its game over after an hour.  We don't even get to see a proper game of football.  Plenty of poor seasons when we've been frustrated by late goals conceded etc, but never this limp surely?  I used to think last minute or unlucky defeats were the worst feeling, but this new era of not even joining in is far worse, because once the initial disappointment is done, you realise there's actually no hope for the next game that isn't a "gimme".  That feeling of certainty that we turn up at Huddersfield and its a carbon copy of today, they won't need to break sweat.

Highlight of the day was definitely the chicken Balti pie. Hate games/days like this. Hate sat there with the fans on the players/managers backs. Hate the toxic atmosphere. Hate some (not all) the players not putting a shift in.  But most of all hate watching a tactical system failing week in week out regardless of the 11 chosen and the inevitable LfL subs.

Depressing. Seems a long way back from here.

As we’re all saying needs a new manager with new ideas who can set us up to be a competitive league 1 team.  Doesn’t need to be pretty - I’m done with that for now. Suspect will mean a good half dozen (expensive) players are no longer needed but sobeit.

Please Sharon.  Not even the pies will make a difference soon.

We can keep these to a minimum though we make more than most teams in this division that's because of the system the players don't understand it
