A week later, Bolton beat Huddersfield away from home 1-0 in probably the best away performance seen in years and at a team that is chasing automatics too.

I feel so so proud again to be a Wanderers fan, how quickly can that change eh? I'm even more proud of our very own Julian Darby, he must feel on top of the world. From ball boy at Burnden Park, to first team manager winning his first game in charge at a promotion rival. He deserved today after everything he's given to the club.

Our future manager was definitely there today watching and whether that is Schumacher, O'Neil or whoever, they will know that they have an absolutely unbelievable opportunity.

For this first time this season, I'm genuinely excited. Let's see what happens.

Very concerned before the start, but fair play to all those players and the coaches.

I had a sneeking suspicion in the week, but lost it when I saw the line up.

Unfounded concern in the end.

They picked up the attitude, commitment, endeavour etc etc. Sprinkled with a touch of guile.

Huddersfield had 67% possession and one shot on target- where have we seen that before?

New voice etc etc.

Feels like a weight of the shoulders and a brightness in the heart.

Only a furst step, but for now well done to all, and have a bastard tremendous weekend.
