Good man Julian Darby. Late on his career with us he had some rough times with the fans but even then he scored a couple of really crucial goals when Bruce got us promoted. This is a properly deserved little bonus for him fairly late on in his footballing career. One of our own and I bet he feels nine feet tall this evening. Chuffed for him.

I love his pre match tactics of "they score from crosses so stop the crosses, and they score from long shots so stop them from shooting".

The best interview from a manager ever, and probably the most un-manager like interview ever!

Can see why he coaches the u18s, and is doing so well at it.

Pure joy; back to the days of ding dong do.

No airs and graces, techno word salad, nor aloof comments.

Not sure he could cope with it all long term, but maybe a higher coaching role, in the background.

In fact he is giddy like a kiddy, and it's simply wonderful to witness.

1-1 in that night match at Sheff Wed a couple of years back the best result/performance I can recall.  And about a dozen when we didn't turn up.  Absolutely loved today but still angry with how long we've waited.  Tossed 5 points away just in the last week.

Was also good to see marking space on the edge of the box. WTF was Evatt thinking.

I love Jules Darby, he gave me his match ticket at moliineux 2 minutes before kick off at that cup game when we sold out was just gonna head to the pub when mate asked him and he gave it me. Top fella.

Just got in, traffic galore!

Their fans were shit and from the offset looked like they had no idea what was going on, think they expected something else. They looked like they were about to cry near the end.

Fans were amazing, that  wanderers  chant that lasted 10 mins before the goal was immense and absolute limbs with the goal. 

Stood pretty much behind radcliffe white, seen a few others from on here. 

Kids are buzzing as its first away match tge lads been to where we've won. 

Vic holding off two defenders to just put it wide was just brilliant and gutting at the same time.

And our players celebrating a clearance! But damn that ref was shite! Their free kick on the 18 yard box never was! 

What a open, honest, down to earth, wonderful interview.

In some ways I'd be chuffed for him if he could just have one game at the Reebok as manager.  That has to be his aim/dream surely.  I don't want to get too sentimental but imagine having his name chanted about 10k instead of 2k, and taking the acclaim of a win at the end?  Obviously it could go the other way, but this is his one chance to manage us here, I think he'll get that chance whatever happens about the new manager.
