Charlton play Huddersfield at 12.30

Stockport at home to Burton at same time

So we'll go into game having a clear picture of what any result for us will look like

Think I'd rather a Charlton win than draw

When was the last time these cunts had a man sent off against us and when was the last pen we had v them? Feels like a long, long time ago. Due on both and the score needs evening for reffing errors at Gloomfield last year.

The ref last season was atrocious; the moment we scored he started giving them everything which led to their first two goals. Never a sending off ( not even a penalty) and I left after that

Any (sensible) recommendations where to head for a drink before the game tomorrow? We'll be in Blackpool around 12.30 so looking to kill a couple of hours

Gonzo mentioned Churchills

We did there last year and Id go back

Opposite theres a tap place

Theres also a much smaller one near the Tower with a decent range, the Mitre

Planning the itinerary for the day

Are Professor Peabody's and Jungle Jims still a thing?

That's slide at Peabodys wouldn't be allowed today ha ha

This place is good. Loads of different ales, they make their own cider too. Stonesthrow from the townsman, Churchills etc on topping.

Incidentally its the old Stanley pub where Blackpool FC was formed.

Tend to agree. I’d be happier being in 6th and having Hudds chasing us than being in 7th but a closer fight for 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th.

Would take the positives if it was a draw. Hudds win wouldn't be great.

Tutu won't shoot,

Not sure why you've said that.

He shoots pretty often.

Might not have scored many but he'll definitely have a go if he gets in a shooting position.

Cask and Tap is the one opposite Churchills, good little micro. There's also a good new one opposite the station called Raleside, real ales, grub, sport on their TVs

It scarred me as a child both literally and metaphorically

Worst refereeing performance I've ever seen that. It was a disgrace.
