Makes sense if they will sell them. 

I don’t think it’s quite all the South Stand. I always thought the capacity of the two ends was around 5,700. However, segregation might impact on that.

it does seem a little strange, given we’ve had home fans in the South, all season. Home demand is likely to require this. Perhaps about 800 home fans next to the Crazy Corner, with a couple of hundred lost to segregation.

Could have been a 25k crowd on a Saturday with a very full ground, shame its midweek, sparse home end and packed away end isn't a good look, or sound.

All midweek games being on Sky doesn't help.  4 or 6 points in next 2 games would at least maximise turnout.

Still seems a little strange for non-season ticket holders, who’ve been going in there.

That stand full of them when they equalised late on on the last day of the season to stay up is probably the maddest celebration of any away goal I’ve seen in that end.

Surprisingly really pissed me off too considering it meant fuck all to us (a rare season where we were on the beach early).

Hope we don’t see similar this year. I’d take a boring 0-0 now.

Does seem a bit strange. I've liked that we've limited the away fans to around 3600 (which is still a great allocation compared to most) and sold the other half of the lower ourselves. 

If we weren't filling up those seats ourselves fair enough, but I can see there being a decent turnout for this. 

If it winds up the Stockport fans then that’s good with me 

One for the crowd nonces. Just the 3 points for me. They will slip up somewhere and probably owe us for something.

Depends on our form.

Which is very close to 40% of their home average gate when you take the 1,000 away supporters off, which is very good going.

Agree 100%, for a nothing game for us this "CHARITY BOYS" result really pi$$ed me off and was the catalyst for years of dross to come.

Depends what you call decent.  More than the 10k crowds we've got used to at night matches but nowhere near enough for a night match to justify turning down the income from selling them the full stand, as annoying as it is.

Strange how 3.5k is now seen as a low away following.  I watched Stockport a few times in the 80s on a Friday or Monday night (mate was a fan) and if they got over 3k it must have been a big match.  Many games were less than 2k, averaged less than Bury and Wigan.  They would take 500/600 to those 2 "derbies".

3.5k is huge numbers for them.

Anything from this one would be a bonus and I’m not trying to be negative. Give them all the tickets they want and get the money in while we can and if we get the points as well all to the good. We surely can’t do as badly as at their place when Evatt set us up to lose, the dipstick.

Iirc They brought near enough 5k in the fa cup on a big day out when they were still non League, though they still had decent home and away followings then 

So 3.5-4k sounds about right in terms of as big as they could expect when doing well in the league 

They wouldn't bring that many if doing nothing of note or struggling 

In any case it's an easy away trip for them

If it were me I'd just give them the upper tier for shafting fans with a paltry 800 away tickets this season

Tough game on Tuesday night against a team that are flying and will no doubt win the league.

Hopefully we produce a better performance than the away leg but I’ll take a draw.

Tough game. Even though Wrexham are a little out of form, and play a pretty pragmatic game, there was a clear jump in level yesterday. 

Tuesday will be the same. We’re effectively playing a Championship team.  A point would be a good result. They don’t crush teams, but they’re so hard to score against. 

Will probably end season with 110 points.  But what a statement win it would be if the team can produce something.  

Really looking forward to this game. Hopefully we’ll put in a top performance, keep our discipline and come out the other side with 3 points and no new injury concerns. 
Also looking forward to seeing what system and selection Schuey goes for. It’s nice to know that the opposition doesn’t know in advance and has time to prepare for it.

Well we surely can’t be any worse than we were at St. Andrew’s, that was a totally disgusting selection by Evatt. My concern is still our lack of cutting edge and whilst I think we’ll match them for football I just don’t think we’re in the same league up front. We certainly can win it but I fear we will again miss our chances and they won’t.

Alfie may ?   Their main 2 are out for a while and I just seen thay there keeper went off injured late on yesterday.
