It's not about making a loss just to keep people happy. Fans are being squeezed out for the ones with bigger wallets and for me the value has diminished.

Pricing stuff for events is a fine line. But the need to make more coin has replaced the opportunity to give some fans a comfortable and affordable experience pre-kickoff. Having said that I suppose that's what the FZ is for. But imagine if the pricing policy changed for that. 

I'm of the age when BWFC had something similar at Burnden Park in the 70s. I think it was an official supporters club on site pre-match. That was popular with the pint of stout and the woodbine smoker fan. But then they changed the name of the place to the Executive Club. And the punters changed to a gin & tonic and the cigar smokers crowd.

yes @Anijt is dramatic. Fans aren’t being squeezed out the club is becoming sustainable because fans want a club to support and nearly lost that

This conversation is spiraling into a black hole. All I'm saying is that BWFC are squeezing the fans pockets. You've made your position perfectly clear. You have no problem with it. It's all part of commerce. Which is fine.

Even if a £900 season ticket was introduced you seem to be willing to accept the collateral damage that went with it. It's money at the end of the day.

Anyway, I'm glad we've sorted that out.

Well i guess it is but I basically meant his group is probably similar to him so chances are all his group would be unhappy. I know some folk who are happy to pay it and some folk who aren’t. I personally think it’s not worth it but I see loads of folk buying it week in week out.

Really? Reflections was always marketed as an upmarket restaurant and bar from the day the hotel opened. Wasn’t Paul Heathcote originally involved? While things may have changed during the dark years, I see nothing wrong with wanting to restore premium options at the club. It’s a positive sign that demand is there, and hospitality is a massive financial opportunity for all clubs.

Regarding “the oiks”, your word not mine, we have numerous bars and concessions under all stands. We have a fan zone, which is the envy of many other clubs fans and, to date, still evolving. Finally, if the hotel is your destination of choice, there is the Pure Bar.

I think I'm right in saying that match day hospitality & corporate have been the largest growing market for revenue over the last couple of seasons, regular sold out!

If the demand is there, then no surprise that we've extended capacity where available.

It just makes sense. Though the price doesn't,  it's cheaper per head for a box isn't it? With a full meal & extras thrown in.

I ain't moaning about this stuff as each to their own but I don't get the going to the match to have nice food beforehand.   

Dunno but guess I would still be in the majority of a few pints and out for food with the bird later ( obviously only if we win as a loss results in really not much conversation and just the occasional grunt) .
