Parky and his style of football wasn’t sophisticated and wasn’t my cup of tea. He did, however, have the kind of know-how you need to get promoted. In particular, he knew that you need centre halfs wh

Emphasis on my opinion, everybody is entitled to theirs. But Evatt does not deserve to be boo'd at all. He got the club going again, served us for 5 years and he did a lot of good for us in that

  • Parky's achievement in getting us out of this division in his first season (under an embargo too) looks better and better every year. No expectations of him needing years to build a side. Signed Alnwi

Club shop maybe?

Cheese loves scrapping outside the club shop; always arranging them anyway

Thought this may be a matchday we could possible claw back some points on Lincoln with them at Mansfield, but their recent record not great, only 1 win since beating Bradford on New Year's Day and that was against Port Vale.

Lincoln will have no issues winning at Mansfield. It's not even worth looking at their fixtures now. They're not going to drop 8 more points than we are

Bolton Wanderers 3

Blackpool 0....

COYFWM!!!

Mansfield were fucking awful v this lot other night apparently.

Bpool spent all night going long and shithoused their way to a win.

There's a strong feeling they'll do the same tomorrow as they know it's our kryptonite.

Not a chance they fanny about at the back tomorrow knowing what we've got in attack.

missing this, who has a weddings during football season ffs

That might suit us at home

Overall, Ian Evatt did a good job for us so I'll give him a polite clap.

Don't know what to expect from Blackpool, they;re fighting for their lives, were 2 up at Uddersfield recently & with Fletcher & Ennis upfront they might have a go at us.........which is better for us than another team just putting 11 men behind the ball.

For us, with so many choices it's hard to predict the team. I'd only count Bonham & Dalby as definite starters.

4=0 @19/1  & 4=1 @ 20/1

Exactly where I am... And I'm not usually concerned about what to expect from the opposition. More concerned about which version of Bolton Wanderers turn up.. Whilst our results have been consistent recently, performances aren't always there.. We seem a little fragmented and have periods of good, indifferent and poor spells during games. Which is why in our games, both teams are always in it

That's a bit harsh.  Before Tuesday (which came off the back of the Burnley cup game), they'd played 11 games in league and cup since Boxing Day and won 6, drawn 4 and only lost 1.  On as good a run as most especially when considering their opponents - away wins at Sheff U, Burnley, Barnsley and Bolton, beat Bradford 3-0, drew at Stevenage and Plymouth.

But probably the ideal team to play currently.  Briefly flirted with bottom 6 pre-Christmas, then threatened a play off challenge and now mid table going nowhere with a big cup game v Arsenal to focus on.

New contract for Sheehan 2028, fantastic news.

I have no issues with Evatt, he was a good servant to the club but overstayed his welcome at the end... a bit like the drunk you can"t get rid of from yout house at 3 o clock in the morning 😵‍💫

Is there anything wetter than hurling abuse at a bloke who can’t respond without losing his job and would probably batter seven colours of shite out of you if he could?

I hate pussies that hide in a crowd. Ask him out in a quiet alley if you feel that strongly about it.

Some assumption there.

He also gave a degree of stick to fans too.

Nevertheless, abuse isn't my bag.

Won’t get a clap or any abuse. The fella is absolutely irrelevant to me now it’s all about what Schuey and his group of players do for us

He’s just another manager of an opposing team so won’t boo him or applaud him.

Some of these responses made me laugh! Possibly relevant to the Evatt comments on here…

Lashers again

I've been reliably informed he's had his haircut and beard trimmed today and didn't speak much in the chair.

Took a lollipop on the way out.

Make of that what you will.

Did he say what our side was going to be?

My lad went through a phase of being obsessed with them, I was delighted when the newsagents near us stopped selling them.

Toot sweets ?

There are not enough Chitty Chiity Bang Bang references on here.

3-0 Bolton.

Evatt overcomplicates it and gifts us at least 1 of the goals.

Super Sam Dalby grabs another header.

RR gets one.

Got a sneaky feeling that Mansfield beat Lincoln today. Nothing to back it up and before all the realists, part time Lincoln fans, come on to tell me it’s a load of rubbish because they’re world class, let me just have some Saturday morning optimism.

5 point gap by the end of the day and a 4 goal swing in goal difference.

Any ESL adult spares chaps?
