  • Depends what you're judging your improvement on? Last season was a shit show. SS had to change the whole system, mantra and introduce a full new attacking line up as well as midfield and goalkeep

If you lose against the marooned bottom of the table side while chasing promotion the mood afterwards is going to be sour - players, fans, everyone associated. On top of that we know that the number 1

  • We drew 0-0, let's blame Sheehan. We drew 0-0, let's blame Toal We drew 0-0, let's blame xyz Defence kept a clean sheet, the bare minimum we expect/hope for. 23 shots, only 3 on target

In, not been since they swapped the away end to the opposite side.

Some would say that removes Port Vale from their 92 until its rectified.

in.

decent allocation to

Free for U12s.  Or just get an U12 ticket with your own and have the luxury of an empty seat next to you?

I won't be doing that BTW, if going will be accompanied by grandson so happy with the freebie.

It was a bit of a free for all last time with lots of standing in the aisles etc.

It’s a shithole; and the locals are all brain dead morans

its that about port vale or us?

I wonder if the brain dead morons can spell morons correctly? 🤔

“and the locals are all brain dead morans”

I’m assuming that was a typo. You meant Brian Dead Morans.

Nice and easy sorting this one.

In.....a trip to Burslem always makes me feel more positive about Bolton.

Not often I say this, but - in.  x 4.  Probably our last visit to Burslem for a while.

Just delegated this one to the grandson & his mate , I’ll be having a word with them Saturday telling them to watch their backs in moody Burslem.

In and drinking. Only been in the car previously

In x3. Looks like they're selling quickly.

In, managed to get one sorted before 10am

I know it doesnt normally mean anything but tickets have a Seat/Row number but at top of ticket say "This fixture is unallocated seating"

Next week is going to be fun

In love a trip back to the 1970s.

Should be docked points like in cricket.

In this day and age, with all the sports pitch technology, there is no excuse for them to be so bad.

In the not to distant past vale park pitch was deemed one of the best in the 4 leagues,  it really was like a carpet so fak knows how it gets to the stage it is now but it does look very poor when we see highlights of games.

It will be interesting to see what style we try to play on Saturday.

Our passing it around at the back probably won’t work on their ploughed field, so may be 4 3 3 and knock it long.

Based on last night’s “performance” and Port Vale’s predicament I suspect we’ll lose this one, even though I’m praying we turn this recent slide in form around.

SS needs to get the starting line up and strategy right this time - lose and the bedsheets will start to make an appearance.
