If we could just recall Warren at a moment's notice, presume Charlton could recall Apter, Celtic Kenny and Brighton ACD.

Surely it doesn't work like that, Aldershot would then have to recall whoever they've loaned to Chorley or somewhere, etc etc.

Joking aside, other than the obvious reasons, I was gutted over Mcatee’s sending off, as it pretty much put paid to Ritchie getting on.

We’ve known Toby from the day he was born! 

Me and missus are good friends with his mum and dad (Great lad and family). We’d predicted pre-game that with both Mcatee and Rodrigues unlikely to see out 90 mins, there’s a good chance a change in that number 10 role would have meant him coming on. 

Cant wait to see him get his chance in a league game.

Even though I’ve known since February it’s the playoffs …. There’s still that giddy bit inside that thinks what it we beat these & Cardiff lose to Peterborough. What a game that would set up for next weekend.

For me, Sheehan plays every game he personally claims to be fit enough to play.

He was immense in that second half yesterday, doing the work people don't think he can do. He blocked, pressed, tackled, covered the defence when needed and still tried to get us moving forward including one proper lung-busting effort to get down the wing.

I don't get the stick he gets on here and social media in general.

Absolute madness how many of our fans don't appreciate that he's far and away out best midfielder.

I thought Sheehan was outstanding on Saturday and I have criticised him in the past but he led by example even though he had been booked also thought Johno had his best game in a long time.

Nothing wrong with Sheehan starting,Happy that Demps looks like starting beside him. You wont find me giving Sheehan stick

The question was about Sharples and should he be brought into the first team squad......No need now both Sheehan and demps are available and we can get 45  out of Rodrigues

I do think it helps when we aren't chasing a goal.  Its so rare for us to be in any game at any time thinking "let's just not concede, nothing happening is the aim".  A completely different mindset to 90% of games when GJ and Sheehan are under constant pressure to create, to find a man and any tackles and interceptions are hardly noticed, they are just a means to an end not something to be celebrated.
