Bradford Home - 1st Leg Saturday 9th May

Same process as before - you can secure your own seats.

Need to put yesterday’s disappointment behind us and fill the place.

Let’s take a good lead over to Bradford.

On the piss in the afternoon prior to an 8pm kick-off on a Saturday, should make it a belting atmosphere under the lights.

COYFWM 👏

Johnston gets a lot of shit, he was great tonight and clearly really fired up for it. The right attitude for the next two games.

Ah well we still have Burstow and McAtee!!

Have we got our TIFO ready for tomorrow night? I'm envisioning a 20ft bed sheet being lowered from the West stand roof, with the words 'C'mon Bolton ' wrote on in black paint. That's the kind of sarcasm I can get behind 😁

It's the hanging about all day waiting to go to the game that's the issue.

Nobody wants to be leaving their house at 6-7pm on a Saturday night.

Anyway if we start tomorrow with Burstow and RR as the 10 we may as well all go home.

Get some injections in Kenny and Dalby ffs. Cortisone in their fucking eyes.

Today has been dragging, tomorrow will be horrendous.

If we start losing it can be turned round to say ‘Schumacher out ! Sack the Board !’

Dunno if it’s just blind faith but I’m still convinced it’s all smoke and mirrors when it comes to Kenny

Everything crossed it's horse shit

If the club wanted to they'd have cleared it up already whether he is or isn't injured, so there's obviously some games being played.

Just saw Paddy Kenny in burger king on middlebrook, looked like he was walking ok

Why the fuck would the club want to release team news before such a massive game?

Was just going to post this ha ha

If we're going to play with wingers, and Kenny is out i think we have to go back to 4231, with RR in the no 10, Sheehan and EE behind him.

I'd rather that than Burstow or McAtee as a 9.

Fingers crossed he aint.

I'd go with that or Dempsey next to Sheehan if EE isn't fit.

Hope and pray he doesn't chuck Demps in at 10 likes he done before.

I wouldn't mind a three in midfield at all

If EE is fit then fair enough, although I'm not convinced he is and it might be better to go with Simons who seems like he mighf be further along in his recovery

I quite like Simons, i think he was a bit of a scapegoat at a time the entire team wasn't playing well December time. There's a player there and i can see a future with him and EE as our midfield two. People rate Sheehan for his control of the ball and passing, and i can see that, but i think in a 4231, it's a little foolish to play a player who's main role is distribution in a midfield you'll never control due to the lack of physicality. For me we play into his failings rather than playing to his strengths. This is why even with a 3 man middle of Thomason, Sheehan and Dempsey last year we basically never controlled the midfield.

Not saying I want us to lose tomorrow, but I'd maybe feel better going into the 2nd leg 1 goal down, with them sitting back and us attacking with nothing to lose. Those situations have brought out the best in us by far this season.

If we're a goal or 2 up we will naturally drop deep and I don't trust our defence to hold out and once they get any momentum with a fired up home crowd it will be incredibly difficult to turn around.

Bit Long winded ....

After so much nerves and doubt. We are going to win 4-0 tomorrow.

I have seen it
