Considering they are operating just at club / very local radio level, I think Derek and SJM are a pretty good comms team worthy of bigger gigs. Certainly better than a lot of those we get on those EFL highlights or Sky Sports +

I like how they come across as unbiased and will give the opposition credit where it's due

Unbiased ?

They may give some credit to other teams but they are totally bias as they should be. The video from Bradford and the one above highlight this.

Haven't seen it but they do give the opposition credit so not totally biased

The Bradford one will go down as an all time commentary classic.

But I generally agree with you that in the main they give the opposition a lot of credit.

But a bit of Bolton Bias has its place.

Anyway get it watched if you haven’t seen it it’s brilliant!

I'd rather we had our season and finale than Cardiffs.

I'm glad we finished 5th as it gave us Bradford away and then Stockport.

I'm glad we had our batshit crazy season as it gave us moments like Huddersfield and Wycombe etc.

Aye. I think it was @Tombwfc who predicted that this season will end with something mad/crazy to take us up at Wembley, he wasn’t wrong.

I know my positive attitude, calling out the negativity and fan experts and asking for balanced approaches riles some posters up#, but I maintain that promotion was our goal and in that respect the season can now be called a success* and what a season it was as the other highlights thread demonstrates.
 

#but as always I’m not stifling daily debate, positive or negative. 

*but I’m also aware success throughout the season was questionable, especially when you consider our prime target was top 2.
