jayjayoghani Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 JJ, not knowing you, do you sleep for a living?Gissa job then I design buildings for a living. Unfortunately there's boring bits to do like most jobs - some more than others.
Mounts Kipper Posted September 26, 2007 Author Posted September 26, 2007 just out of interest what would've appeased him? I can't imagine a get well soon card and an apology would've helped much sorry to hear that Mr B, we will look into it thanks for notifying us, and maybe a couple of tickets to the lofthouse suite pre-match would have probably been sufficient.
athywhite Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 sorry to hear that Mr B, we will look into it thanks for notifying us, and maybe a couple of tickets to the lofthouse suite pre-match would have probably been sufficient. not bad but not as funny as trafs. on a serious note hope he makes a speedy recovery
Mixu Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Yeah right, not the ? note signs flashing through his head eh? Utter cunts people like that. If he gets paid out all he is doing is robbing the rest of you. BWFC have a slush fund made up from selling tickets for the ?40 mark to away fans to watch hoof-ball
enzo gambaro Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 If he's a lifelong fan he should be well aware that the floors are slippy, and thus take more care on his way out of the ground. If he'd just fallen on his arse and all his mates had taken the piss, he'd probably have just joined in the hilarity whilst thinking "Christ, I'm a clumsy sod. I look like a right dick now!". As he's been unfortunate enough to sustain serious injury, he's looking round for someone else to blame.
E2Jarstar Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 The club charges almost three fuckin quid for a pint of piss!!!! What makes everyone so sure it was spilt beer, the filling of a Greenhalghs' pie that has dropped out from the side when eating can be equally, if not more dangerous than beer if stepped on?
Guest letsgo4itbwfc Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Walk don't run........................ :drinks:
Bigtoe Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 The club should have offered to loan him of one of those 3 wheel turquoise spaz chariots, then he could park it next to the pitch and get a much better view than where he is now.
Whites man Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Some blame must be attached to the architects. There are some right idiots designing buildings today.

alibob Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I 'slipped' quite a few times in macedonia. who do I sue?

I don't think you could actually slip on the contents of a Reebok pie: the filling is of a glue-like constistency.
H Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 I 'slipped' quite a few times in macedonia. who do I sue? I've fallen down all over Europe
casual1690 Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Cheers. It's called Altro and is quite a popular flooring. I sell all this type of Safety Flooring and no manufacturer will state that there product is "non slip", only "slip resistant". If any floor is wet, you should take care and watch yourself, its easy. Putting claims in, the countrys gone daft.
Casino Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 agreed, but if theres foreseeable risk of the floor being slippy, and theres no signage, its goodnight vienna complainant will win sad, but true
Burndens Bogs Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 (edited) complainant will win sad, but true Why is it sad ffs? The lad slips and dislocates his kneecap, and has to spend a minimum of 4 weeks off work. If the club had put down a "slip resistant" surface in the first place it might not have happened. If the club had put down a "slip resistant" surface in the first place it might not have happened. it may not have happened if he was more careful in the 1st place. i wonder what shoes was he wearing, can he sue nike for not making them grippy enough too? how about sueing the met office for not warning him about rain? blame and claim bullshit drives me fukcin mad!
no balls Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 blame and claim bullshit drives me fukcin mad! And me too, Homo. It's always some f?cker elses fault!

Is this some misguided loyalty to the club? If it had happened to you in Morrisons or whatever - how would you feel?
HomerJay Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Is this some misguided loyalty to the club? If it had happened to you in Morrisons or whatever - how would you feel? EXACTLY the same, without even a shadow of doubt.

If the club had put down a "slip resistant" surface in the first place it might not have happened. it might not then again it might have only thing for sure is that such a surface would have cost more, and we'd all pay for it oh aye, something else is sure folk would moan about the price and as fert supermarket, they'd have had signs down on the floor of their slippery surface perhaps if it rains we just don't play in future Edited September 29, 2007 by Casino
