Andybwfc Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 I wonder what he has to say about his Wanderers days!? http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/wanderers/w...th_new_book.php FORMER Wanderers manager, Colin Todd, is back in town today to mark the publication of his autobiography. "Toddy - The Colin Todd Story" traces the footballing career of the former England international who became a Premiership manager, including two top flight seasons in charge of Bolton Wanderers, where he spent more than seven years on the management team. Todd will be signing copies of the book at Waterstone's in Deansgate from 11am to 1.30pm. A signing session scheduled to take place at Sweeten's Bookshop in Farnworth from 5.30pm to 6.30pm this evening has been cancelled.

Henrick_Pedigol Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Just spoke with Todd, reminiscing about the good old days (pre-Bok), seems like a decent guy. Said he speaks to Per on a regular basis, apparently he's a coach now in Denmark.

craignaylor Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Stig Tofting is assistant manager for Todd at randers.
Manny Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Said he speaks to Per on a regular basis. He must think very highly of Frandsen then. Didn't Todd resign after selling him to Blackburn? Will never forget the last season at Burnden with Todd in charge.

Will never forget the last season at Burnden with Todd in charge. Yeah Todd went after Frandsen was sold because he didn't want to have to sell the team's better players. I also had a chat with him today and found it good to remenicse.
BWFC_LOVE Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Yeah Todd went after Frandsen was sold because he didn't want to have to sell the team's better players. He also criticised us for bringing him back a year later if I remember correctly.
Casino Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 wonder if theres owt in there about why dickhead brown got leathered
jules_darby Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 wonder if theres owt in there about why dickhead brown got leathered Just out of interest, why the dickhead bit?
Mounts Kipper Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 wonder if theres owt in there about why dickhead brown got leathered was it not because on a team bonding, Andy Todd was a miserable and not joining in with the spirit of things, Browny followed him into the toilets and asked him what his problem was, and the rest is history, that is what I heard anyhow.
Zico Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 was it not because on a team bonding, Andy Todd was a miserable and not joining in with the spirit of things, Browny followed him into the toilets and asked him what his problem was, and the rest is history, that is what I heard anyhow. I heard it was when Big Sam took over after Todd resigned, at some do or other Browny passed a comment to Andy Todd along the lines of "you're going to have your work cut out now daddy's not manager anymore" and as we know Todd then followed him to the bogs and kicked his face in, repeatedly
jules_darby Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Andy Todd was on the same plane as me going to the Algarve a couple of weeks ago. I fought hard not to ask to shake his hand for that toe-to-toe he had with Collymore - one of the best one on one football punch ups I've seen.
Burndens Bogs Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 I fought hard not to ask to shake his hand for that toe-to-toe he had with Collymore - one of the best one on one football punch ups I've seen. Aye, Colly fancied a bit of "handbags" Todd fancied knocking the sheite out of him ::::::
M G WHITES Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Aye, Colly fancied a bit of "handbags"Todd fancied knocking the sheite out of him :::::::: Some good scraps outside the ground too that day
Totty Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Just had a good thumb through it, there appears to be absolutely no mention of the Phil Brown incident!? Soft arse.
scottgreen Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Aye, Colly fancied a bit of "handbags"Todd fancied knocking the sheite out of him :::::::: That was right in front of us in the East Lower, a proper fight. Saw something similar at Powerlague this week.....
magic legs Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Todd v Collymore was like a road-rage incident where they decide to settle their differences out of their cars, but then one of them seems to have been an amateur boxer! Boy did SVC pick on the wrong guy - he should have stuck to his dogging.
