Megson moves in with surprise ?650,000 bid for Wolves midfielder Davies

Gary Megson has lined up a shock ?650,000 raid on Wolves for midfielder Mark Davies. Bolton manager Megson is ready to poach Davies from Molineux after tabling a firm bid for the 20-year-old on Thursday night.

Davies is currently on loan at League One leaders Leicester City, who made a ?300,000 bid earlier this week, but now he is bound for the Barclays Premier League.

Excellent today.

Excellent today.

Seconded. Had a brilliant game today. Good assist for the free kick too.

He could have cost 8m and I'd have said money well spent.

Looks a superb signing

as good a debut as i can remember given his age and fact he was in league one a week or so ago

early days but brought to the game what our midfield has been lacking for a long time

Legs? And he knows how to use them.

the lad looked good, not out of his depth at all - superb home debut imo.

So, Megson & co know fuck all, eh?

Signing a player for what is peanuts nowadays.

Running the ball away when under pressure- tremendous. Excellent game

Becareful Traf, you know you are not allowed the give Megson any credit.

Anyway it was the players today not Megson you should know that by now :pardon:

Mark Davies put in a MOTM performance today, and long may it continue!

I've coined a new nickname for him already:

Dazza.

Hopefully he will turn good but he looks very feeble and small

from now on, im going to laugh at owt you post

For a debut it was as good as you could want.

Saying he's been playing for Leicester for a couple of weeks and stepped up to this level you've got to give him a lot of credit.

Great dribble at the end too

If I've read your post right, there is an enormous difference between the top of the championship and the bottom of the premiership, so as the poster says, fair play to the young lad for stepping up so quickly.

A million pound very well spent!

Err, Leicester are Division 1 nb

Jsl

thought the young lad had a blinder today, hes just what we have been missing!! hopefully the best is yet to come!!

Most people have already said what I was going to say, but fcuk it I will say it anyway.

Absolutely brilliant performance, I was not only impressed by his running on the ball, but his passing as well, he looked like he knew when to play it simple, and when to go for something a bit more extravagent. I'd like to see his pass completion percentage because my guess would be that it is very impressive.

For me I can't choose between the 2 Davies's for MOM. Captain Kev was his usual self, wearing his heart on his sleeve and never giving the defence a rest, his goals were so important, and he managed to drag the players through the difficult spell and pick them up after the equaliser.

If it was on performance alone the I would ahve to give it to M. Davies.

great home debut. thought we did ok today. that bald defender is wank. letting the ball bounce is fucking suicide.

I meant that! Sorry! :pardon:

Funny how people see things so differently. For me he was very good and I was very impressed. I agree though that letting the ball bounce is a bit stupid.
