Guest Blixa
I love how all these news sites use the word 'swoop'. What the hell does that actually mean? Sod all, that's what.
Gaz Nt
Regarding Gosling: Looks like Goslings going to chose Newcastle over us now. Have improved their contract offer so looks like it's only a matter of time now till he signs for them. Ah well, as Pablo says, he's over rated anyway! Let's get that goalscorer in! In Coyle we trust! Regarding Alonso: Ye, its pretty much a done deal. Will be confirmed within the next week or so. Are you ITK Gaz or talking bollocks as usual? bwfcol
It's not on anywhere official or even anything like BBC/Sky Sports. Although judging by our usual website service, the signing will be announced in October on there
Crayola
It's strange that nobody other than 'Clubcall' are reporting it. I remain skeptical.
Didledee
He is coming over and signing either today/tomorrow and will be about at Spotland. Not playing but he should be there. Also Riga, Hunt and possibly Shittu won't be getting squad numbers next season whether they are still here or not under those new rules where you have to declare your squad of 25 or whatever. We are struggling to get a striker but we do want Nugent. The only three we are definetly chasing and pushing hard for at the moment are Nugent, Wilshere and Alonso. That's from Jimbo fro Burnden Aces, who writes for ESPN and Bolton News. He was ITK about Al Habsi going to Wigan on a 12 month loan. Moderators Carlos Posted July 22, 2010 Moderators Share Posted July 22, 2010 Regarding Gosling: Regarding Alonso: Hang about, your "done deal" post was in reference to Moreno joining Benfica. All you and Diddles have posted about Alonso is what Alan Nixon has put in The Mirror. Being ITK means knowing something that ISN'T in the public arena. snowball
I'd be quite pleased with Nugent. Am I alone in this? No, I would have taken him last season. Ok not in preference to a fully fit Klas but compared to our other striking options a definite improvement. He scored six goals in a relegated side. How many did super swede score? Ok he won't set pulses racing but I think he can do a job.A local lad who will settle in quickly and has worked with Coyle. For the price as well, I think he's capable of ten premier league goals with us. Plus when he does bang a few in it will piss off Bucketshakers & Dingles. And he reportedly turned down Blackburn! What's not to like?
Crayola
Without a doubt, one thing to like about Nugent is that he isn't a sloth, he can run and he isn't Leroy Lita. We need some pace upfront, I'd give him a chance.

Erm, no it wasnt, it was regarding the Alonso deal. Read the thread again. Also in the thread, when I posted the info there was nothing about it from Nixon? I dont class to be 'ITK', it was meant as a sarcastic comment. I'm just passing on information from people who are 'ITK'. Gaz Nt
Only time will tell if i'm classed as 'ITK' I suppose. As for the Alonso deal, It should be tied up by this time next week. Sorry Casino, I posted the wrong statement before. Here's what i wrote regarding the Alonso deal back on th 15th. Happy Wanderer
I'm not 100% sure about the Nugent thing, I can't make my mind up if it's good or bad. Trouble is he hasn't really shone through as a great player just a plodder on the fringe of things to come. He does remind me of Neil Whatmore who came good, so you never know but ?6M could be out of our reach.
