Site Supporter MickyD Posted February 2, 2012 Site Supporter Share Posted February 2, 2012 Another thing; whu the fuck does Tuncay turn back in field whenever he gets to the half way line? I don't remember him once beating a defender and taking it down the wing.

I don't remember him once beating a defender and taking it down the wing. Because Coyle obviously sent him on to keep hold of the ball? I thought Tuncay was excellent when he came on, just what was needed

Piemon
Bolton are back. scrapping and fighting  i will take that if we do go down if we go down fighting (although i think we will stay up)
enzo gambaro
Rode our luck a bit at times, particularly first half, but were well worth a point. Â Centre backs did well, NRC was outstanding and Petrov had a decent game too. Â Ngog can't head a ball for shit. Â We lost any semblance of shape when Tuncay came on for Petrov. Â And it definitely wasn't a penalty. Â Same again at Norwich and we'll win well.
Guest Frandsen08
ngog was brilliant and very unlucky not to bag NRC was top drawer as was Wheater. Onwards and upwards.
Matt Lofthouse
NRC man of the match for me he was excellent. Â Wheater as well is really growing on me, puts his head in where most wouldn?t put a boot in. Â Eagles get in the gym and eat some pies! Â Great result roll on Norwich and keep the points ticking. gregbwfc
Cracking game last night and a great performance. Don't know whether it's change of formation or a few players coming back into the team, but we seem to be getting a bit of momentum and albeit slowly, gaining in confidence. Same again at Norwich please. Â COYWM

obbzi
NRC was superb for us and didn't stop running all match! Also I thought Wheater was superb and looked solid. Â As someone else has already said Oxlaide-chamberlain looked quality and can't believe they ttok him off! Â Great performance and happy with a point, an entertaining 0-0 if there is sucha thing! tarian1979
 Because Coyle obviously sent him on to keep hold of the ball? magic legs
Really enjoyed last night apart from some notright in the North Stand shouting "Stronger" at Ngog and then "Finish him!" at some second phase stramash
tylswhite
Tuncay is Riga without the cartoon wages. Â Hopefully thats the last weve seen of Tuncay now. We can put that Sordell on instead starting this saturday.
Boltimore
I would of said wheater for man of match  outstanding, thats all  If you want the ball in row Z then Wheater is the man although he did slice one over the bar!  We can't afford to fanny about at the back so Wheater does that job well. Knight just passes to them!
onlyoneawalker
Great performance NRC was immense and as captain gives us real orgainsation and leadership shows SKD up that being skipper isnt just about leading by example every credit to NRC I was totally wrong he's been superb this season - also think the back line looks much better organised and disciplined in defending without robbo obviously and dare I say it Cahill in ever game since they left bare Utd we've looked miles miles more solid
BOWTUN BAKED
Would of taken that point all day long, good battling performance (again) & sustained periods of pressure late on, may have even nicked it. Â Bogdan & Wheater at the back just keep on impressing, get Knight out, hope this Ream fella is the real deal & I see bright skies ahead. Â NRC superb engine again, though flagged towards the end, only worry is how long he can keep that style of tempo up, fear he may burn himself out before the end of the season, though with Holden back fit, really gives us some options. Â Mavies & N'gog linking well and working hard again. Â Really starting to worry about Eagles though. Apart from the obvious lightweight, non-tackling side to his game, thought he was really flagging towards the end & not first time this year I've thought he can't last 90 mins. Let's see what this Nippy Nip can bring to the table, give Eagles a rest & hope he comes back stronger, though long term he really needs to work on his fitness & endurance. (though he's not alone in that)
Moderators Casino Posted February 2, 2012 Author Moderators Share Posted February 2, 2012 i suspect the stats will show that (again) coker and eagles were our top 2 in terms of yards covered  tis no surprise they tire
BOWTUN BAKED
No doubt, though other players from other teams don't seem to become as 'pedestrian' as Eagles does. Â I've commented before about the fitness levels this season. Â If NRC & Eagles are going to continue to put the hard miles in on the pitch then they really need to look at how they can consistantly do it throughout the season rather than in stops & starts. Lasting the 90 is needed as a minimum not the maximum. Â JSL
