bolty58 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Last day of summer here (thank fuck). Hottest on record with an average of 32.4 degrees Celsius. Two weeks until the temperature usually drops to a beautiful 26-28C for two solid months. Can't bleedin' wait. Quote

bolty58 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Very pleased to report that today, the temperature has dropped to a cool 28C and it actually rained this morning! When I first came to Perth, they had a downpour in the middle of February (hottest month) and blokes walked out of the pub and stood in the gutters letting torrents of rainwater gush round their feet and calves - still supping. Smiling and loving every raindrop. I was convinced they were all mental. This morning, I was plug chopping one of the Vespas and looked down the street. Same thing. Folk with teas and coffees in hand getting pissed wet through and loving it. The grass is always greener. Quote
DazBob Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Gonna be a warm one this week. I'll be on patio furntiture with my top off outside the Founders Arms with a bit of luck. Quote

DazBob Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Beltin'. 30C+ ? Don't be daft. Everyone knows the temperature only has to reach double figures and the tops are off. You can then gauge just how hot the day was by nipping into Asda later that evening and checking the severity of the sunburn on the shoppers' shoulders. Quote
