Mounts Kipper Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 (edited) Right we have heard all the negatives lets have some positives. I will start with with if we beat Villa we go 1 point behind Wigan and Qpr( most thought Wigan were safe after there run) and move up 1 place and still have a game in hand. waffer cup 07 Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Can't beleive some of the posters on here already given up saying were down. Were not, yesterday was poor but take nothing away from Swansea, there's much better teams than us struggled against them.We are capable of picking up points at Villa and Sunderland. COYWM. Quote
Jol_BWFC Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Next week Blackburn are away at Spurs, QPR are away at Chelsea and Wigan play Newcastle. Hopefully there won't be many points for our rivals next weekend. Quote
Breightmet Boy Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 We have to play Spurs here and always seem to get a result against them Quote
Bobcat Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 coyle is shown the door in the summer ..... massive positive Quote
anewman Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 i cant put what positive i see because the thread will just end up getting deleted Quote
no balls Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 we didnt actually get beat yesterday... that was my positive. Get your own. Quote
anewman Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 we didnt actually get beat yesterday... mate given our predicament, nothing less than a win was acceptable, it was swansea ffs not man united who wigan beat btw Quote
glossopWANDERER Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 i cant put what positive i see because the thread will just end up getting deleted Let's say you get what you want and coyle goes. What would you do if you were chairman to 1 attempt to keep us up and 2 plan for the future eg manager, transfer strategy and on field tactics. No offence but I've only seen you calling for coyles head and wanting to sack the large majority of the squad and get rid of the board and gartside. So can we see a constructive post from you or would you prefer to just call me a cunt and continue in your normal fashion Quote

No offence but I've only seen you calling for coyles head and wanting to sack the large majority of the squad and get rid of the board and gartside. So can we see a constructive post from you or would you prefer to just call me a cunt and continue in your normal fashion well I strongly believe that coyle should of gone back in october, at the time there were numerous managers available, i suggested martin o'neill but got laughed at, he was unemployed and eager to get back into the game so why not have a punt? Sunderland soon recognised this and acted swiftly, now look at them go. I suggested Mark Hughes, that got a bigger laugh with folk saying he was clueless, well it seems he is keeping QPR up. Yes, Coyle has to pay for this with head but its too late, I would get rid of him ASAP and even approach Steve Bruce for the remaining games, new manager, new ideas, new tactics and new belief. If Bruce didnt fancy it, maybe Lee Clark or even Sammy Lee til the end of the season, lets face it neither can do worse than Coyle. If by a miracle we stay up, there will be a lot of meetings and discussions in the summer months, money would be made available, discuss better sponsorship deals, cut the chairmans salary and others at the club who are on 200k plus a year. The deadwood would be shipped out and new quality players brought in by competant staff before the season starts so they are able to gel and not wait until transfer deadline day then it takes them 3 months to get a game. I have no doubt that Sammy Lee is one of the top coaches around and would put him as head of the coaching staff, also I would get rid of mr blobby as that doesnt set a good example of him sitting on the bench and warming the players up. I could go on but no doubt get shit for it Quote
gonzo Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 i thought SKD had a reasonable game and ran his bollocks off. Quote

I could go on but no doubt get shit for it I agree if we were going to sack coyle it had to be in October, dout o'neil would have come and mark hughes would not have been to bad a shout I think the money he spent in January is now starting to pay off. I think sacking coyle now would send the wrong message to the players because it would be as good as saying we have given up on you. If we go down Then yeah it's goodbye Owen we need someone to organise them and can get them playing in the fashion we did back with big Sam in the championship. Who is a difficult call for me I know he's just taken a job but I would not mind Steve coppell because of his experience at that level. But who knows we were down with the dead men in 2008 and pulled thru so there is always a small amount of hope. What ever happens its been a good 11 years next season will be a new chapter Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted April 22, 2012 Author Posted April 22, 2012 Lee Clark? Now I know you are on one massive fishing trip. Hughes would have kept us up easily and so would Steve Bruce now were in the lap of the gods and need a large slice of lady luck and Coyle should pay with his job if we drop, I just hope his contract is up st the end of this season and we can sack him for nothing. no balls Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Lee Clark? Now I know you are on one massive fishing trip. Huddersfield season ticket holder told me Clark will be in charge at the Reebok next season. Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted April 22, 2012 Author Posted April 22, 2012 There is a genuine chance 36 points could keep us up. Quote

Traf Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Blackpool won't go up, Oyston will fall out with Holloway and sack him and we'll take Holloway as manager. The positive thought in all that is that Blackpool won't go up! Quote

paulhanley Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 I think if we get 38 points we will stay up. It might even be that we get six of those in the frenzy of the last two games of the season. That's the best slant I can put on this. At the moment I'm pretty dispirted and fearing the worst. Quote
Casino Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Lee Clark? Now I know you are on one massive fishing trip. i though 'discuss better sponsorship deals' was the pisstake he can't actually believe this shit Quote

I could go on but no doubt get shit for it Let's say that outside of playing staff, 20 people are on over 200k. Assuming they can be trimmed by half, which is laughable, that saves 2 million. Frankly, that is a piss in an ocean the size of ten pacifics. Sponsorship? Do me a fucking favour. United might be able to get several million a year off DHL just to sponsor their TRAINIG kit, but we'll always be scratching around for second rate sponsored like most. Hindsight is a perfect science. I've said all along we'll stay up. I still think it'll happen. Quote
