I'm no wine connoisseur, and if given the Pepsi challenge I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between an expencive bottle from a reasonably priced one.

 

If it's white, fruity, 12% and no more than £6 I'll buy it. And I don't care which country it comes from. Anything more than 6 quid is a waste of money.

Bit of a wine snob (never, I hear you say) in some people's eyes, but they're usually the ones who sup shite.

I don't see it as snobbery, but liking nice stuff. You wouldn't buy cheap and nasty cordial either would you?

 

The parents always loved their wine so I grew up supping it, the stepfather has part of a vineyard and most of it in his wine cellar which is handy.

 

I like wine. And yes 6 quid wine is fine.

Pouilly Fume or Pouilly Fuisse, usually around 12 quid a bottle, or Sancerre, slightly cheaper ar around 9 quid. All of them french and very leafy.

 

If its red then Chianti, at a fiver a throw.

I only drink it occasionally, I bought a mixed case of 12 from virgin wines in January for £20 plus a £60 voucher from uswitch and I've still got 3 bottles left!

Anyhow, I like my wines and don't mind paying around a tenner a bottle, especially for a decent Sancerre or Rioja.

I've drank 3 quid wine and liked it and I've bought wine at more than a ton a bottle and it has been shite.

 

But generally I wouldn't pay more than 15, unless it's a really nice CDP, which is TDB, isn't it CWP?
