SatanGreavsie Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 I'm out in warmer climes That's me liver saved then Maybe Anyway, thinking about it although I've seen us play Palace and Wimbledon there lots of times, the first time I went was 1990 as I was living in London and a Palace fan at work got on me tits, so I went in the Rochdale end for their 3rd round FA Cup tie against them, hoping for a giant killing and big piss-take. Cunts ended up getting to the final that year. Quote
Elvis Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 what time train you on? I think 9.40 from Piccadilly. Casino will confirm. Taking about going to Victoria for a mooch before match, but not sure. I need to find Elvis, last seen in Peterborough in Weatherspoon after game! Quote

Also remember an Ian Marshall inspired victory on a mud pit. Quote
Adlington Trotter Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 What's the best plan of action? Stay around Euston and have some pints there or head to the ground early on? Never been, but been told by a Selhurst veteren it's not too bad for away pubs aroud there. Looks a right journey from Euston. Quote
bolton va va Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 What's the best plan of action? Stay around Euston and have some pints there or head to the ground early on? Never been, but been told by a Selhurst veteren it's not too bad for away pubs aroud there. Looks a right journey from Euston. I'd suggest going over to Victoria where there's plenty pubs, and then getting the train from Victoria to Thornton Heath, Norwood Junction or Selhurst. They're all about the same ..about 20 minutes on the train & then a 10 minute walk. There's fuck all at Selhurst, there were pubs at Norwood Junction but IMO the best bet is Thornton Heath which had a Wetherspoons nearby & some more pubs on the way to the ground. It's a few years since we've been, so the pubs may have been culled.....our occasional Palace visitor may have some better or more up to date info. Quote
