He by all accounts made his interest in the job pretty apparent. The most baffling thing of all is why he,or any other manager,would take the job in the first place. With all the millions they came down with,they spent only 1 million in the summer on players.. They have not fitness or gym equipment,players are instead given free off-peak passes to De'vere hotel on Herons Reach. Just like me, you'd jump at the chance to be a manager at a Championship club. Three year contract, even on shitty Blackpool salary would net you getting on for a million and the quicker they sack you, the quicker you can retire. Plus you'd get a chance to wreck their club.
