They have told him he won't be getting a contract. He now has plenty of time to sort out a new club. Looks to me as if he wants to carry on playing and why should DF offer him a player coach role? He has his own guys around him, do you know if KD would make a good coach just based on the fact he played for 10 years. That's just emotional nonsense. Chances are that having KD around coaching would not be a good thing for the club and the last thing DF would want or need. It might have been announced today but KD has known for some time. Club have not done anything wrong at all from what has come to light so far.

Davies himself said on the radio earlier that he wants to keep playing for another 2 years, if this is the case, maybe he didn't want a player/coach position.......if that's the case, then why should the club offer him such a contract?

Mounts I think you are letting your desire to have a go at the clubs hierarchy get in the way of reason. I am Kevin Davies biggest fan but it is time for him to move on. The player coach argument is nonsensical and you never wanted DF in the first place perhaps that's why you are so eager to write this season off.
