smithills_gent Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 ......last week of may and first week of June.....leaving 28th back before 6th.....suggestions please Is a great time for a safari....The wider Serengeti region covers interesting sites such as the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is another popular stop-off on African safari holidays. The park attracts more than 90,000 tourists each year - and many come to view the Great Migration. Come on an African safari holiday during late May and early June and you stand a good chance of catching this amazing natural phenomenon, which sees more than one million wildebeest move south from the northern hills. Around 200,000 zebras also make the trip. Quote
L/H White Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 very jealous! I've never been before, how much $ should I be taking? I'm staying at the MGM Quote

Garrp Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I've never been before, how much $ should I be taking? I'm staying at the MGM how long you going for? Honestly depends on what you want out of it? If you dont lose money gambling its not really THAT expensive. The free drinks all night no longer applies though, unless you are gambling. Quote

Biggish Dave Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Vegas can be as expensive or cheap as you want to make it. As a general rule of thumb though, beers in the main hotel casino bars tend to be around $7 each then a $1 tip with everyone which bugs me! You can get all day buffets for around $30 so you can stay stuffed but plenty of places to pick from. Maybe have a look at vegas.com before you go to buy some nightclub passes as at least they are bougt before you go. One of my regular haunts is the VooDoo lounge at the top of the Rio - you can get passes on a thurs or a sun night for about $65 I think and you can drink as much as you possibly can for that price. Its a bit more expensive on a friday or saturday night Quote
