White Shirt Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 http://www.redspottedhanky.com/e-voucher-offer/ Put the codes 3JBRSH and 4KNRSH in Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 I followed the instructions, used the code emailed when registering, the new account is opened and yet there's no £10 credit? Has anyone else had any joy yet? Quote
Traf Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 It can take up to 72 hours. Read the t & c's Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 That's where I fall down on stuff like this, reading t+c's and sticking to instruction. I'll probably start buying the odd train ticket here and there with my own balance as well, until I'm buying tickets all the time - right back in that cart again! Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Reet, those who have codes, I cocked up filling in email details on the RedspottedHanky registration page, so I actually opened a corresponding email (with the cockup) to match... Well, I think the JOHN codes can be used more than once as long as it's a new/fresh email - I used the same one twice (code not email) and it didn't reject it - whether the £10 will be credited twice is a different matter. They've got a bit twitchy about them recently so may not credit them. Best bet might be to set up numerous accounts with a tenner in each one. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 (edited) When Oli did the original offer earlier this year that's exactly what I did, set up a load (well, eight or so) gmail accounts just to use with the codes/train ticket offer. I think one or two got the balance wiped for some reason or I might have put them to a ticket whilst pissed and didn't remember. Anyway, I'd made a textfile with the emails as a reminder to enable login on RSH. I also used the same password for all the emails and the RedSpotted login as I wasn't arsed about security (being solely for this purpose)... This time I just used the same usernames to open email accounts with hushmail - made another textfile as a reminder and they've worked. If you try and register using emails already in the RedSpottedHanky database it's no dice. This hushmail is really quick to set up - they're not arsed about duplicate/alias accounts so there's no need to keep clearing your cookies (although you do when registering with RedSpotted). It seems a lot of arsing around but they've come in really handy these £10ers here and there...Cheers Oli and White Shirt. Edited September 13, 2013 by Youri McAnespie Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Downside to the £10 in different accounts is you have to split your journeys, or use as partial credit on a longer journey or if you can't be arsed spltting. Quote
Smiley Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Ok, I entered the code for the e-voucher. It said 72 hours. Offered me the chance to register an account. I thought I'd do it later. Only just done it but no £10 e-voucher. Have I simply missed out as I wasn't registered with the site? Quote

They haven't added my tenner yet either.I still have £16 odd in my account from 2 vouchers earlier in the year. The only ticket i've bought was for a single back from Ringway but my flight was delayed and missed the last train home so as well as the unexpected £45 taxi fare it was £3 odd train money down the drain. The plane actually landed an hour before the last train but the baggage handlers forgot to unload the plane for an hour before someone complained. This was on the back of a 2 hour delay at the other end.Paid £850 for a week's luxury and had that shite to put up with on the way back. Youri McAnespie Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Should've flown with KLM, they know how to run an airline. Camiel Eurlings is a WINNER. Quote
