Guest bwfcdan
Fantastic them, I'd love it if they did any retro Bolton top.
Leyther_Matt
Didn't the club shop do some retro tops in the last couple of years?
Marc505
That late 70's Umbro one, done properly with the Umbro logos down the sleeves would be my all time most wanted Wanderers shirt, not the plain version done by Toffs

jules_darby
http://www.camporetro.com/2_Team/61_Everton/ i know this mob do we have a shirt they should make available? Confession time. I had the Everton 86 home kit In my defence I was 7-8 and a Bolton supporter but I really liked the kit I'm also there with the Umbro one; I have that in a heartbeat. Mounts Kipper
Do these retro shirt companies have to pay royalties to the respective clubs, if not its a licence to print money.
tomski
Late 70's umbro for me too.
Moderators Carlos Posted October 1, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 1, 2013 I'm all over the Umbro and a Cambrian tracksuit.
DazBob
My firstest ever footie shirt was the green one with the umbro logo down the arms. Reckon it must've been around 1983 or 1984. I'd love that shirt again (although maybe in a bigger size).
Bigtoe
Just noticed they are doing Bristol City in amongst that lot. Glyn Riley...blast from the past for those that went in the 80s.

I loved that too, hardly ever took it off, but ironicly its possibley the most hated Everton home kit ever.
gonzo
Red normid kit is my fave. Last shirt I owned was the teal green number in 98...but I don't thats quite classed as retro yet.

COYW
If you look closely at the Everton kits, none of them have the original kit manufacturers logos on them because they are trademarked. They wouldn't be able to reproduce the BWFC Umbro kits for the same reason, because if they stripped out the repeat diamond pattern on the sleeves, there wouldn't be much left! Pablo
Also, if it wasn't for the New club badge changes, you would be able to have your clubs crest on them.

The retro BWFC brought out a couple of years back were the same. Pretty sure my 'Normid' one isn't made by Matchwinner. I've not even looked at it since the one and only time I've worn it (to Wembley).

COYW
Clubs don't really need to change their badge at all if they already own the rights. Most usually do it because they want to generate extra revenue by persuading supporters to dump any existing merchandise and buy some new stuff. Everton on the other hand will be doing it again next season because of the almighty fuck up they made of introducing their current badge. You need to change the badge every 8(ish) years, in order gain ownership of that image.....or along those lines.

You may need to reapply for the rights every so often but you certainly don't need to change the design of the badge in order to do that. Not in Crawley
Are we back to grown men wearing football shirts again? Even slobbing around the house, it is unacceptable.
