How many 'top' goals have been scored by unfashionable sides/players that, had they been Arsenal, Man U Liverpool etc, people would still be wanking themselves to death over?

 

Curcic's against Chelsea (IIRC) and Elmander's V Wolves spring to mind

allardyce right footer from a good 35 yards, think against orient

whatmore v plymouth

 

loads by ricketts but if i have to pick one, the one at leicester when he dumped the centre back and nearly took the netting with the ball

Mcginaly away at Millwall was a cracker too

Nolan's overhead against Portsmouth, was watching the game in the Happy Duck before our first ever UEFA cup game. Happy days! Think we moved into the top 4 with the win, I was leathered sat back thinking this is as good as it gets

I always think this one when I think of goals that more should have been made of.  Sasa's mazy dribble as well.

 

I was also going to say Philliskirk's free kick(s) against Coventry but seem to remember a rumour of Michel Platini shortly thereafter stating he was the best striker of a dead ball on the planet.  In which case it probably wouldn't qualify for the category in question

Might have made this up in my head but seem to remember Jaidi scoring a cracking volley from a corner at the Reebok.

Anelka v Arsenal, cut in from left and a blockbuster keeper didnt see. He scored a few good 'uns for us but that was my favourite 

Underappreciated ? Ricketts at West Ham. Probably Offside. Untidy finish. Kept us off bottom at Christmas, and ultimately a couple of points above West Ham.

David Reeves equalising at Chester kick started that season and Julian Darby with the winner at home to Stoke finished off a great week that started with Brownies goal.

Decided to watch the 2004-2005 DVD last night not watched any of our season reviews from that period for ages, they were the days didn't appreciate them enough.

 

Darren Ambrose for Newcastle at Reebok was one Ive totally forgotten about, bit of a run then a ridiculous 30 yard screamer into top corner.

 

Okocha's free kick on first day against Charlton was unstoppable

 

A couple from Stelios as well, the curler against Norwich and a really well worked one at Ipswich in the cup, when Pedersen got 2 and kept doing the peacock celebration which I always felt a bit embarrassed for him for doing.

 

Also remembered the scenes when Ferdinand made it 2-1 at home to United with surely the last kick...
