I came out of the ground today and bumped into a sheff weds supporting lad I know from Over this way.

This is all down to the manager.

I was saying today, we are still on a downward slope. We ain't bottomed out or started to turn the corner yet.

Unbelievable some of his decisions, taking off Garvan and Davies at the same time, he should have started with only 1 of them, playing Mason up top on his own how many times before he realises he can't play that role, playing LCY all game after he's travelled halfway round the world, dropping player of the month Craig Davies the only player slightly capable of playing up top on his own, not giving Danns a game a player who can change the game off the bench, that list in just one game beggars belief.

How can Gartside and Eddie Davies hold their head up when they have brought in the worst ever management team to our once famous club?

At the moment I can't see how we can win a game in this Division based on what I've seen this season, and in particular today.

 

Players or manager? Manager for me. Most of what he's brought in are crap, and the few decent ones left from the previous regime have gone backwards.

 

Gonzo's right, money isn't the issue either, loads of other managers have had the job of putting a team together to do well in the Championship while trimming the wage bill. Hardly any pay actual fees these days, they just have a better eye for a player (probably because they look further than Palace reserves or Millwall's bench) and they have worked out that winning games in the Division is a lot simpler a process that Dougie seems to think it is.

I think he has got the players, he just hasn,t got a clue what to do with them.

In what can probably only be described as plain ignorance, I still cant see us going down.

 

I suppose I always feel like we will turn it round in the end. Mind you I was still thinking that in the final seconds against Stoke on the last day of our Premier League lives.

 

I believe we've got the players to forge a half decent team. I don't believe we've got the leadership or right people in charge to do it. In the process, any positivity, fight and morale is being drained out of the support. I'm usually quite upbeat about Wanderers even not too long after bad defeats, but I've never felt as down about them as I do right now.

I'm still not having it that these players can't hold their own in this league. Someone has to kick them up their collective arses and convince them that all we (the people who pay their wages) want is for them to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in. 

 

And another thing, when I rule the world, the second thing I'd do (after abolishing bar-stools) would be to make it law that you can only wear coloured footwear when you've proved yourself competent with a football.

Otherwise it's black boots only. How some of our tosspots get contacts to wear hi-vis boots amazes me.

We are a team of average championship players with a weak manager no leadership and no coherent plan. I don't think we will drop though but it ain't gonna be pretty!

With this set up and management we are down without a fight

I can't see us winning as many games at home as we did last season. I don't even think we could beat Manchester United or Blackpool at this rate.

I honestly think we have the players to easily stay up. But there is something seriously wrong at BWFC and it's something to do with Freedman.

 

Players like M Davies, Spearing, Lee, Wheater etc shouldn't be in a team at the bottom of the Championship, they'd walk into most teams in this league.

 

But why they are playing so badly I just don't know , and it's depressing. We need serious changes at the club, it's heartbreaking seeing the team just getting worse and worse

Just like being back in the prem, hoping 3 teams are worse than us.
