  • Somebody will no doubt sign him, the way things are going, I'm expecting him to pitch up at Wigan with Whelan saying "He's served his time and she was probably asking for it"

Let's forget all this plasterer / mechanic nonsense, he's a high profile footballer and as such, a role model and someone who deals with the wider public on a constant basis. He isn't working in a sma

To be honest I think her forgiveness is more to do with her need to dig gold than her forgiving nature.

Even though her family are richer than a lower league footballer.

A real man would eat the pizza at the same time as shagging her

Would he be shagging her from behind, watching telly and resting the pizza box on her back?

Which could also act as a drip tray if he had poor directional control.

He's hit a big nail right on the head there.

About time somebody made a sensible statement.

Joint statement with Oldham and PFA due soon,

More likely signed than not?

Well said that man.

Hopefully, they won't capitulate

I think that is exactly the right standpoint from a sponsor.

He's signing for AFC Wimbledon and wearing some of that Beastmode clobber.

Mike Ashley will probably have the final say. £200,000 a year is a lot of money for Oldham to lose if he threatens to withdraw his sponsorship.

I'm all for giving someone a second chance, but also I would not be over thrilled if some one like that was sat next to me at work

For all you know, they might be.

We have an armed robber at our gaff, he's been in and out of jail.

Decent enough chap, good at his job.

but useless as an armed robber

thats what Googles for, you will be surprised what you can find out about people, type your own name in and see what other people can find out about you

Yes very useless, point is its a serious crime and he's another chance.

Luke McCormick killed two kids drink driving, he's captain of Plymouth now

Lee Hughes also played again

Evans by that comparison deserves another chance.

Personally I'd like football to make a bit of stance on serious crimes and have a blanket ban, but then there would be arguments for Beharanio who's just been charged with drink driving to be banned.

It's a minefield

Glad I'm not involved

The oldham club shop is doing a special Ched Evans Balaclava and Gloves half price deal.

Whatever happened to Marcos Alonso's alleged fatal drink driving incident. Did it ever get to court ??

Google my name and you find a well respected Business Studies teacher...

what are the chances...

Back on topic... Rehabilitation act prevents employers from prejudicing on grounds of criminal convictions doesn't it? Certain jobs are exempt, but time spent is time spent and cant be discriminated against... (and seen as oldham have held talks they clearly cant say he isn't up to the job)..
