Rembrandt Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 According to the Sky commentators tonight, Fleetwood Town's target is Championship football. With a population under 30,000. Be interesting to see how that goes. Anyone for another trip to Highbury before long ? The nearer one, that is. Quote

They'd take support from locals who watch Blackpool and folk from the Kirkham area who watch PNE. Quote

Andy Pilley the owner has more money than sense and every goal he's set for the club he's achieved. Wouldn't surprise me to see them in there in the next 5 years. Quote

Guest bwfcdan Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Good luck to Gibraltar tomorrow, first game after joining UEFA. Friendly against Slovakia (being played in Portugal as Gibraltar's ground isn't yet up to standard). Interesting squad to say the least! The squad, which consists of 19 locally based players, also has three ‘English’ players, in Barnsley’s Scott Wiseman, Danny Higginbotham of Chester, and Adam Priestley, who plays for Farsley. San Roque CD’s Liam Walker, who played for Portsmouth last season, also makes the team http://footballgibraltar.wordpress.com/2013/11/13/23-man-squad-for-slovakia-game-selected/ Quote
