Both feet off the floor, out of control with studs up. Red in the modern game and will be amazed if that is over turned

Yep. I don’t think it warrants a red but why on earth did he decide to tackle like that. Ball was his.

Footballers are bloody daft at times. I vaguely recall Jay Spearing getting a 5th yellow for booting the ball into the crowd during a goal celebration. He then missed a big end of season game. Still can’t get my head round why he’d take the chance knowing he’s on 4 yellows.

Wiggin were decent tbh , good & quick on the deck , pacy wide men got the ball delivered with a bit of venom.

two brick shithouses at CB invincible in the air , although Aimson turned like a bin lorry as Charles sped away to set up Hudds goal .

Darcy tidy as was the giant rwb .

Huddersfield were gash though dare I say Evattesque in their pondering.

suffice to say it won’t be easy at the Brick.

Hopefully we continue to avoid them in the league

Especially as it was the most eagerly awaited away in years. And was shite 😂

Been down in London with work today and managed to get a freebie for the Palace v Villa game. Turns out @gonzo’s ultras are an absolute myth, there’s more going at it in crazy corner in division three. Five goals allowed (four of which checked by VAR) and a further two that had the full celebration treatment before then being disallowed. A moment killer that I’ll be glad to keep away from.

I was thinking how refreshing the Sheff U Leeds game was on Monday. Two late goals and absolute limbs in the Leeds end. The 3rd wouldn't have been scored in the PL because they'd still be drawing lines after the 2nd trying to find a way to disallow it.

Maybe VAR killed the Ultras

Commentator on 5 Live said a few times 1st half how flat it was, no atmosphere and loads of empty seats.  It made a change they weren't trying to big it up and say what an amazing noise there was at Selhurst.

The VAR delays are an absolute joke.  McAtee's goal would have been a 3 minute delay and silence if we'd had VAR.

I always thought the palace "ultras" looked a bit too try hard with their flags in the right style typeface, black shirts etc. Like a bunch of uni grads had seen a Dortmund game and wanted to copy the look

Tranmere perilously close to going non league again. Good.

Not close enough.

Hope they're broke too.

Too broke to send flowers to Aldridge's funeral*.
