Arsenal bottlers

They're either unlucky with injury or they've fucked up in the transfer market when this is their front 3

For years their midfield was too soft

They've sorted that and not they're struggling up top

Little from column A and a little from column B. Don't really have a natural striker in the squad but anyone who could play that role out of position is injured.

Merino scored 2 playing there last game so no surprise to see Arteta try it again.

Lack of striker was an issue in the summer and again in Jan and they seem reluctant to spend the money required.

Another blank for Dion today. Can’t say I’m overly arsed, he was done with us and we were done with him.

Huddersfield 6 home games without a win.  Yet to score at home in 2025!

Like a school yard game this lol

And it didn't get any better. That last ten mins was like a Rugby match, kick and rush :D

Standard of the prem is as low as it's ever been. Very entertaining like but fuck me it's so poor.

Each to their own, but I don't think it is.

The pace and physicality sometimes quashes skill, but then we sometimes take technical ability for granted a bit, and it is only when teams come up and struggle, that we can see how good it is.

Bournemouth, and Forest are a breath of fresh air, as Brighton have been. Sticking it up to the former big boys, which makes it so interesting.

Like a morgue this City-Liverpool game.

Seems like a lack of belief in the home fans, and also from the players at the moment.

As soon as city get the ball, they have red shirts all over them.

Their play, whilst pretty at times, is sluggish: players not readily moving for each other, and the ball is moved slowly.

By the time they've worked it to Doku for example, Liverpool have loads back.

They won't move it early neither.

Well, a good move there, with a disallowed goal!

Yes I'd agree, there has been a narrowing of the gap between the big boys and the rest.  I could be wrong but I get the impression foreign players just want to come and play in the Prem and don't really care who they play for whether its Bournemouth or Man U - the money is probably similar because of TV etc income.  And these young talented managers are finding a way to play against City and Arsenal, they aren't scared of them any more.  I never look at the likes of Arsenal and think their players are a class above the rest of the Prem, its all much of a muchness.  When they had Henry, Bergkamp, Vierra etc they were different class.

Only just seen the opening goal, but Pep the genius chose not to ask any of his 9 defenders in the box to pay any attention to Salah, just let him have a free shot in acres of space, he's not that good!

1st time this season I've watched city and wow how poor do they look

If this is a game between 2 top sides I'd hate to see the rest

Absolute bore fest and no atmosphere

Hence the actual standard is shot at.

Entertainment is one thing. Actual standard and quality is another.

That United Everton game looked like a championship game yesterday. Same as Toon Forest today.

Ace to watch like, but christ it's so poor technically.
