I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

If that wasn’t a penalty for Arsenal then football is fucked. VAR is there for them dirty scouser bastards

aye

like anyone else watching on TV, saw the replay over and over, and I coudln't see why they wouldn't give it

Justice done at Newcastle.  I was thinking that watching Arsenal was like watching us away from home, so frustrating and no end product.  Then they did something we can only dream about, 2 crosses and 2 headed goals in the last 10 minutes.

And Sunderland being 5 points clear of the Saudis going into October is the stuff of dreams for them.

They've had a relatively easy start and lost at Burnley but already their fans are contemplating being top 4 at Christmas and beyond

I watched the replay umpteen times. I think the keeper got a slight touch before the Arsenal forward did a theatrical forward roll over his leg.

Clear and obvious error? Obvs not.

Still fouled him. Where the 'if he touched it he can't foull' comes from God knows.

Nah. He's made an attempt to play the ball, touched it, then caught the opponent on the follow through. No foul.

I'm thinking this might be a good game

Obviously this is me jinxing it to a bore 0-0 like

The aerial view Everton's stadium looks a bit good under the lights

Was gonna check the odds on Walker Peters getting booked and committing 4 plus fouls but totally forgot.

He's been booked and must be on 3 easy by now.

Arbroath?

That stand behind the Bodo goal is reminiscent of the jousting tent we put up for away fans in front of normid

Cardiff have lost at home to Burton 😂

Rovers lose again, now 3rd from bottom.

The plan's coming together, if they get a bad result v Stoke on Saturday its hard to see Ismail surviving the international break.

4th bottom, above the 2 Sheffields and Oxford.

Blackpool tossed it v Luton, looking grim for Bruce, locals revolting
