I think Arsenal or Liverpool this time round

You could well be correct. Both looking very strong.

As a betting man my money would be on the Catalans.

Once upon a time I'd be in the front room with SSN playing on a loop in the back ground and I missed nothing

Those days are gone

It's Peppa Pig now

Well, you are a bit of an expert.

Come November, it'll be 18 years since we drew at Bayern. At that point Brighton were where we are now, i.e. playoff type position in the 3rd tier. OK, no disgrace - but they didn't have a ground. They were playing at the Withdean, which used to be a zoo. Bournemouth were towards the bottom of that division, but then got docked 10 points for administration and went down  - then survived the next season in the League itself by the skin of their teeth. Brentford were half way down the fourth tier and progressed no further. So a shite season ( but to be fair they went up as champions the next year).

Three teams who finished 8th, 9th and 10th in the PL last year. One generation on from that night in Munich. Things change - as they should. Apart from the real money-bags who plod on oblivious.

Food for thought for the over excitable types who would write off this seasons chances for us right now.

Not even 3pm and 2 derby day wins

Everton were unlucky. Grealish and Ndaiye were immense.

Another win for the national anthem disrespecting scumbags. Hopefully they will falter soon.

Usually the sign of a good team, not played well at all yet and sat on a 100% record

Blackburn leading Ipswich (down to 10 men) 1-0 with 11 minutes to go and the ref abandons the game due to waterlogged pitch. As the fans are leaving the stadium the PA guy is playing Why Does It Always Rain On Me by Travis 😂

Does that mean it is replayed?

Can't argue mate. They are very strong atm.

Hoping Arsenal can stop them.

Go on then, can’t be arsed to drag up video of our 3rd goal in the Tuesday night water polo game or the league rules.
How long do you have to play for a game to count now? Swear it used to be 70 minutes

edit, just to cheer me up on a shit night. Enjoy strictly boys.

That walk back to town is the closest I’ve ever been to drowning.

Liked this as I can look back at any previous result and laugh today.

Seriously though how much worse was Blackburn to get called off with 12 mins to go

Did anyone have Bradford, Stevenage & Lincoln being top 3 after 9 games?

Have Bradford got a few quid?

Thought when we played Lincoln we were the far better team. Basically 90 mins of shit housing after they’d scored. They didn’t look like a top of table team.

Irrelevant, but interesting.

Aaron Collins who broke an arm before getting an MK Dons game, played one & then tore tends in his hamstring in training & will miss another 8 weeks !

Meanwhile Gethin Jones is still out with his severe hammy injury in the early August & no date set for his return.

Add Exeter's woes with Mendes-Gomes long term injury this week ... blimey we were a walking hospital ward.

We have been the best team in every league game so far this season. Should have smashed Reading and Blackpool so another four points would have us right in the mix

Thomason made his Wrexham debut yesterday as a sub for the last 15 mins.

Santos still injured at Swansea, he's only played 67 mins since last Jan.

When the game is replayed, will Ipswich start with 10 men,or lose a man at the same time as the dismissal or 11 & the red card stands or what ?
