Casino Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Reading definitely in the mix Millwall soon to be Quote
radcliffe white Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 I see in the next round of fixtures it’s hull v reading, after tonight reading could be that extra team in the mix Quote
BoltonBoy80 Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Stoke in bottom 3. Get them horrible fuckers down. Quote
DomRepWanderer Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Stam will be sacked in the morning. Fuck him dirty red tw@t Quote
Rizlar Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 I see in the next round of fixtures it’s hull v reading, after tonight reading could be that extra team in the mix I reckon even Forest are not safe, bottom clubs all starting to get results could be a very interesting second half of the season . Salford Trotter Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 I think the bottom three in the Premier League, as it stands, will get relegated. From what i hear Stoke are highly leveraged and if they drop that is bound to put them in a sticky position Quote
gonzo Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Stoke will go the same way as us. Maybe not as low but they will go down eventually. There's a big band of clubs all in a similar cycle drawn over 10 or so years. Have your fun in the sun then go down for a bit. Burnley are doing ace, so have Southampton but it won't last forever. We dined at the top table with some real success some mentioned Just plodded by Quote
tarian1979 Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Reading definitely in the mix Millwall soon to be had a tickle on millwall at 25/1. I think they'll survive but seemed a big price Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Think Swansea and West Brom are certs Would love Stoke to go but think it will be Bournemouth stoke are gone for me. Doesn't seem to be any heart in their efforts Quote
DirtySanchez Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Suppose it depends on what Stoke and Southampton do about potting their managers Both have very good players even if that Shaqiri at Stoke looks like he would be an absolute cunt Don’t think Bournemouth would sack Howe no matter what and maybe their squad is a bit more limited Quote
gonzo Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 As we well know all it takes is a few bad signings and a couple of wrong appointments and you're gone. Quote
Sweep Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 There's a big band of clubs all in a similar cycle drawn over 10 or so years. Have your fun in the sun then go down for a bit. I think there's a few clubs who will find themselves in the same sort of problem we're currently in. And you can bet, their fans will say...... "It'll do us good to go down, we can clear the decks and build again, plus we'll have some cracking away days" - I think even Stan Collymore (who should know better) even said this about his beloved Villa t'other year At some point, a "decent sized" club is going to go pop and nobody will be there to save them................and they'll be shunted down several divisions Quote
Casino Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 surely if it gets a bit shitty, maggie, mike and izza will be headhunted Quote
Carlos Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Maybe that's why they've already gone into hiding? Quote

Eavesy Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Being a Stoke fan must be proper frustrating. plenty of cash but no intention of competing. Under the guidelines of ffp are they able to spend it? With a stadium holding a third of Old Trafford and the inevitable much smaller corporate takings and global sell. Combined with an inability to bring through youth and sell for big profits. (Thug wannabe Wilkinson and Ryan shotton being the only ones that spring to mind as stoke youth) Quote
birch-chorley Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 I just can’t see Stoke getting in financial trouble Last set of accounts aren’t too horrendous... http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-make-financial-loss-735568 £125m coming in with £95m going out in wages, a small profit on player trading (not sure how they ended up making a £10m loss looking at that) The key is that they have billionaires behind them, the Coates family donated £50m to charity last year alone Clearly though it all boils down to how you manage your finances once you’ve been relegated Quote
gonzo Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 All depends if the coats family want to keep chucking money at it. Once they've had enough that's when the fun stops. See our Edwin for details Quote
MalcolmW Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 All depends if the coats family want to keep chucking money at it. Once they've had enough that's when the fun stops. See our Edwin for details Well Bet365 is still making money aplenty, and deliberately did not go off-shore to evade taxes like all the other big internet gaming outfits. Denise Coates is the brains behind it, leaving her father and brother to play with the football club. Lives in CW11, too. Quote
stevieb Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Great start to Arse v Chels. It matters more when you've punted your Bet365 free bet on it! Quote

anewman Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 3 ex Bolton defenders on the pitch tonight arsenal v Chelsea and we got a combined fee of around 8 million yet Southampton sell one average centre half for 75 million. Our club really has been mismanaged over the years Quote
