Right - forgetting the bent bidding process and the conditions of the migrant workers building the stadiums - does anybody else agree that a Nov/Dec competition has the potential to be ace?

 

Firstly because it will take up most of the traditional Christmas bullshit season so we'll all be talking about football and not festivities. Secondly just for the novelty factor. And thirdly because we can see whether or not our well worn excuse about our players being tired stands up to scrutiny.

It must be noted Ronaldo is a couple of years older than messi and his reliance on power,pace and fitness was always going to see him on the wain first. 

Theres no question of who is the best now. Overall both in their prime, I still prefer Ronaldo.

Same here. I'll watch it, but only cos my lad wants to see Messi v Mbappe. Part of me hopes they both do fuck all because throughout the tournament he's referred to every failed pass/tackle/shot (regardless of which team it was) as "like watching Bolton". 😁
