Firstly because it will take up most of the traditional Christmas bullshit season so we'll all be talking about football and not festivities. Secondly just for the novelty factor. And thirdly because we can see whether or not our well worn excuse about our players being tired stands up to scrutiny.

Fifa rankings started in 92

We havent been lower than 6th for 4 years

In the 26 years before that, we were 6th or better for less than 2 years

We were mid teens when he took over

Hes not doing great, but hes doing fine

It really does feel like an unnecessary risk getting shut, but then the haters on here have previous for doing things that fuck the country over

The things which have fucked the country over start with big government (something the Europhile big staters want and support), an inability to get to grips with immigration (to a large part related to continued affiliation to the ECHR) and guilt ridden whiteys uncomfortable with their comfort.

I'd bet my left one from the available evidence that St. Gareth would be a remainer federalist filled with guilt at his 'privilege' who would let down as many drawbridges as possible to flood the country (and decimate services) at the earliest opportunity.

There is always an argument to stick rather than twist with football managers, it’s a fine margins call…. Whatever the FA do… I’ll accept and won’t be crying into my glass… pity some can’t accept that in politics… six years on and still grumbling… and as for “haters” comment!  love it. 🤣

The GOAT, Maradona, already has a World Cup. 

People talk easy runs for us in tournaments, what about Argentina. Qualified from a poor group, after losing to Saudi Arabia, then faced a team who should have been nowhere near the last 16 of a WC, and then the worst team in the QFs. Messi apart I really think they're average.
