Guest Blixa Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Why hasn't anewman come along and said that Gartside has scoffed most of the Twixes, then jammed the empty wrappers down the throats of the supporters? Standards are slipping round here. Quote
Traf Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 and on paper still owes the first shop 5 twixes Only on paper, not in reality But he use to have a total of four between his companies so he has lost two? Good news, some people came to watch the footballers and gave him half a twix and sky gave him half a twix too, so he's only lost one. If you could make money by owning a football club with bigger expenditure (even net of interest) than turnover, then we would all be at it. I never suggested he had made money, but I don't think he's lost as much as we're led to believe. Quote

Whites man Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 He still owns the Twixes but cannot ask for them back for at least 10 years. Quote
DomRepWanderer Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 What if you don't like twixes? Who doesn't like twixes? weirdo. Quote
gonzo Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Who doesn't like twixes? weirdo. I like to nibble the caramel bit off first then dunk the naked biscuit in my brew. Quote
DazBob Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I like to nibble the caramel bit off first then dunk the naked biscuit in my brew. With a piece of buttered toast wrapped around it? Quote
no balls Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Twix's are a confused confectionary item. Too biscuity to be true confectionary, too chocolate and caramelly to be a biscuit. Quote
SalfordOriginal Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I like to nibble the caramel bit off first then dunk the naked biscuit in my brew. Yours or somebody else's? Quote
SatanGreavsie Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 How many Twixes has he had out from the shop? He has far more confectionary at his disposal than he is given credit for (in the Forbes Chocolate list for example), but out of them all, Twix is his favourite and he's happy to forego his ability to purchase other tasty comestibles in order to fund his Twix habit - in much the same way as many of us spend a stupidly significant part of our readies on random enjoyables. Single finger packs are down the biscuit aisle and twin packs are on the chocolate display. You're not wrong. Biting off both ends and sucking your brew through one is amazing though Quote
Juan.Kerr Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Twix's are a confused confectionary item. Too biscuity to be true confectionary, too chocolate and caramelly to be a biscuit. No, don't. I understood it all before that. Now my head's fallen off. Quote
sunninghill Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Who lent the Twix ?, the one who cover them in chocolate or the one who smother them in chocolate cause one might charge more interest than the other . Quote

I'm not saying it's right or wrong but they're being offered other seats so they are bringing up being disabled to make it an emotive subject. I have no soul though Quote
