Casino Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 why would eddie not pay the wage bill the bigger the debt, the richer he gets if you believe all you read on here Quote
Traf Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 why would eddie not pay the wage bill the bigger the debt, the richer he gets if you believe all you read on here Now, you're being silly. Nobody has said that. Quote
Spider Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I remember you telling us that Metallica were a decent band and that turned out to be bullshit. So you're not entirely correct. Goat piss. Quote
Spider Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 If it was Warbies that stumped up the cash, do you reckon they all got a milk roll and a signed picture of Stallone as an end of season bonus? Quote
HR Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Strangely, I heard the same tale (minus the Warbies bit, I was told it came from "the board") from a guy I played golf with on Saturday, he has had a box at the stadium for yonks and does fraternise with many of the staff. I assumed he was talking shit (he rarely does, like) so just ignored it. He said something else about ED but I'm not putting it on here. Suffice to say, it adds credibility to the tale. Personally, I still don't give a shit. Health issues? Quote
Guest Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 That Nixon bloke has been saying on twitter for weeks that a takeover was a matter of urgency and that Eddie didn't want to pay the bills anymore. Thought he was being a drama queen. But that would fit with this rumour. He was asked directly by someone if there was any truth and said it was very hard to answer right now and he'd have to pass on it. Which I would suggest means he believes this to be true but can't say. It could mean of course he doesn't know...... Quote

RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 & potentially it's a load of bollocks Quote

gonzo Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 There's not a cat in hells chance Neil Lennon agreed to come here if all wasnt well at the club. There's also not a cat in hells chance that ED decided not to pay the wage bill whilst drinking his morning coffee and looking at the tits in The Barbados gazette. Bolton have never been the most transparent club at the best of times. Everything has always been one big secret. My hunch is investors are coming in to stop the debt spiralling even more out of control because the situation can't carry on unless we are promoted pretty sharpish. Quote

tomski Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 My only other take on this is that the sale of the club is happening this month and Eddie feels it's not his responsibility as he won't be owner for the majority of the month Quote
Guest Blixa Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Indeed Kia won't buy us if we're not in administration. How much will they give us for the club as a trade in against a new car? That's the big question. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Marc Iles tweeted that the cash injection did happen but not because ED Davies wouldn't pay the wages but for totally different reasons and has not elaborated on the reason just said it was nothing to worry about. Quote

Warburton's taken on the snack concessions. Next season it's all potato cakes, crumpets and slices of toastie. ITK. Quote
