What are the chances of getting Chungy back on loan? It's looking more and more like Lennon's early good run was mostly down to him...

Is he getting nowhere near the first team at palace?

Just checked, played 6 times mostly as sub or In league cup.

Nowhere near the weight palace are punching him.

My mate, who a few off here have met, who is a Palace ST holder isn't overly impressed with Chungy, he reckons he's far too lightweight for the division, he also can't work out what sort of position he is supposed to play either, as he says he not quick enough to be a winger, and is too much of a piss poor tackler to be played centrally. He certainly doesn't think he's a bad player, but he thinks he might be a bit out of his depth at the top level. He's expecting that he'll be moved on in the near future.

Alan Nixon's column in The Sun today talks about us being ready to beat Celtic to signing Carlton Cole. He's 32 now. Can be unplayable on his day. Anonymous on others. Not often fit!

I'd rather take a punt on him compared to some of the other names mentioned (Leon Fucking Best for starters). At least Cole has been a decent player, albeit a long long time ago.

Last line is the important one there. If he's not fit, no point even considering him. Might as well sign someone off this board.

Saying that, a fitness test these days is more than a jog to the pie shop and back.

Carlton Cole would be a decent addition, plenty experience, physical lad and he's scored around 1 in 4 appearances for the Hammers in the Prem. Cole did manage to score 15 in the Championship, but that was a few seasons ago.

I'd be happy with Cole, can be a real handful. He could do a decent job for us on the peanuts we can offer - very much in the Darren Bent bracket and he does ok for Derby I think.

Sickening

Doubt Cole will be on peanuts.

Ched Evans if he wins his appeal?

Not sure we can wait 12 months.

I'd say there's a chance Carlton Cole might rock up at Sunderland along with Nolan. He likes a target man does Allardyce and Fletcher is the only player he has who can do that and he's not a proper target man.

Thought Sunderland have got Danny Graham? I would have thought he's a BSA type of striker.

Nixon reckons we now got 18k a week for a striker

First it was 10k, then 14k, now 18k. At this rate if we wait till January we'll be able to afford Waddle and Fowler

They've got plenty of squad men. Not sure they need Carlton Cole. Nolan, on the other hand, should be a shoe in. Is Vaz Te still looking for work too?
