Blondi Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Surely signing Trotter twice must be a sackable offence? Quote

davidjack Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Yeah, that was a good one...especially when prefaced with how he was trying to "educate" us. Quote
Matt Lofthouse Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Not forgetting his 'gift' moritz to us. Quote
DazBob Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Hope he introduces Trotter as his gift to the Forest fans. Quote
snowball Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 How many away games did we win with ALF in the side? Â He wouldn't have been the messiah, taking us to the promise land, he would have been a very expensive striker that could of easily been injured early doors & left us skinter & in the same position as now! Â If's, buts, apple's, nuts. You could spin anything as positive for the club but seriously who are you fooling? ALF is a proven goalscorer and you think it's better we didn't get him? aye alreet, we don't need him or Emnes or Cole or Hooper or Ameoba or Kermogant. it's great move really because they might get injured and we can put the money towards Garty's bonus. Happy Days Quote
Horwich Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 He would be better building the team from the back and getting a solid defence. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 (edited) He would be better building the team from the back and getting a solid defence. We've got 4 fullbacks and 4 centre halfs and only the 1 true centre forward/goal threat, Ipswich and QPR have conceded more goals than us yet are mid table, it's pretty clear where we need strengthening. Happy Days I didn't say we don't need a striker. Though seen as you've brought it up, at the time, we certainly couldn't afford one. I still don't think we need or can afford one but that's not my choice. Â I do think the manager & his coaching staff need to pull their fingers out, they've brought players in to supposedly strengthen, though facts are we're no better off 12 months down the line. Â Preseason was another wasted pointless exercise, Dobbie & Heskey are looking like pointless wastes of wages. Â If you think I'm putting a positive spin on the things, you couldn't be further from the truth, I think the club is a shambles from top to bottom & I blame one person. He should have gone the same summer, with Coyle, after relegation. Â Thanks for your presumptuous input though. Quote
