They won't lose millions.

The club will lose whatever assets they've secured the loans against.

Some people seem to have a problem understanding this !

Maybe the st owning the team would of been better after all. I Mean anybody can just waste away the teams assets.

ST didn't even have the quid to buy the club, they didn't even have a bank account for the quid to come out off

Possibly, but they were never in a position to own the club.

We took the best and only offer on the table

Option A - would have been a wealthy backer or consortium ready to put in and lose their own cash

Option B - someone selling or borrowing against the assets to keep the club going

It looks like nobody was willing to lose their own money so option A has gone. It seems we have been in option B for some time now with asset sales such as the training ground being spent covering our £1m a month losses

The question is how long can we keep borrowing against assets to fund the monthly losses. We're going to require snookers before too long

As above, exactly. Which is why we need to cut costs drastically as soon as we can so that we are no longer making a loss.

Out of interest, other than people on Twitter and Facebook saying so, do we 100% know that SS have taken out these "payday" loans and secured them against the remaining assets?  -  I've not seen anything official saying we have

Aye blumarble or summet

Fair enough, at least it's not just nobbers on Twitter as usual then

Next seasons squad is going to be interestingly shit.

I doubt it'll be interesting, otherwise you're spot on.

Couldn't say with any degree of certainty one player who will start the first game in season 2016/2017 - suppose that's a bit interesting!

No different to this seasons squad then

Nothing remotely interesting about this season's squad..

The class of 2015/16 will long live in the memory for all the wrong reasons!

Holding has been mildly interesting to be fair, and I have marvelled at Derik's hair on occasion.

If we're relying on the likes of Walker, then we're staying down for a long, long time

There's no mention of any interest rate on the secured loan - so other than Bluemarble, SS & Provbably the Football League, nobody has any idea of the interest rate or term.

That won't stop the speculation on twatter and facemither and the man in the pub that its at 24999% APR of course.

Even a cursory glance at Blumarble Capital is enough to put the willies up even the most optimistic Wanderers fan .

No wonder ED left some decent debt in there although not sure it's going to deter the drip drip of debt piling up against the club's assets.

Christ reading the posts on here is likely to make u suicidal, truth is none of us know anything no matter what we may think, i am choosing to believe Dean Holdsworth has the best interests of the club at heart and i am just going to go along for the ride, if i am being naive so be it, a few weeks ago the club i love and supported for over 40 years was close to liquidation, so at the moment i am happy in my ignorance, so thanks Dean for saving our club, and i will be there next season COYWM, rant over soz
