Town Centre Latest

Just had a meeting on Churchgate. Sad to see the Bolton News offices empty. And in a week or two the Travel Counsellors building opposite will be empty. Another 200+ people spending approx £20 per week on parking and lunches in the town... plus whatever other services they spend their hard-earned on - all being lost. Very sad state of affairs.

When will it get better? Should these empty offices be turned into apartments?

Fiver a pint 🍺 Up the Hipsters

It’s become our round the corner local. Been in last few weekends. Very nice. But sshhh, it’s only very small so don’t want it becoming too busy 😊

Don't know what you're talking about mate 😉

Went in there plenty of times when it was a bakery/butty shop.

Earls is decent and just round the corner is Tesoro Pizza place and their separate deli/coffee  shop also both very good.

Someone needs to tell Earl to put his address on the website.

I had a look on there last night.

The menu- which had to be downloaded- was somewhat minimalist to say the least.

Bizarre in fact.

I went in a couple of weeks and saw some of the food.

Looked like it's for snacking rather than a meal.

Also, just to add, it's more like a place you'd take a bird to rather than beers with the lads.

Nook’s ok but by the fuck, MrsD and I went in Bill & COO after a Saturday game. I could’ve got a job there as a youth-club leader!
